Everything would have been great with this product if the turning knobs were not made out of plastic. If you're using this with something that doesn't extend too far, this is an excellent value for the money. I have a case where I have an extension arm that extends from each of these with lights and the plastic knob is just not strong enough to handle me torqueing on it to ensure that an extension arm stays put. I snapped two of them. I didn't see any alternatives that are reasonably priced, so my recommendation is to get a bolt and drive that through instead (that's what I did).

I used these to ceiling mount my Valve Index Base Stations (v2) in a 12'x10' play area. They are working great! These seem to be all metal, but they have a nice little rubber pad where you screw on the base station to help with vibrations. They feel solid and would take a lot to bend. You can tighten down the adjustment part such that the base stations do not move. I have not had to adjust them since I installed them. You could also use these for wall mount, if you needed some extra distance from the wall compared to the mount the base stations come with.

Did they work for their intended purpose, yup. I wish they were a bit better quality, the first one I grabbed out of the box,, the metal head twisted loose. Spend more if you intend to put these somewhere people will actually see them.

Have held up well, even in breezy and stormy conditions!

Very low quality. Does it hold a camera? Yes, but zero trust in it. The screw that holds the head is horrible and flimsy at best, u don’t even trust that it latched. The screws to mount that come with it are probably the lowest screw quality ever, they even strip during one install. Buy anything else (and they are short with little to no adjustment)
