Good quality, well packaged, holds charge, long battery life. It’s great.

Great deal for the price--does the job.
Worth it given its price. I am not sure how it compares capacity but with two for less than the price of a Canon battery, well worth it. I am not a professional but can take a lot of pictures or videos with my DSLR camera and battery performs well.

I got these to replace the dead battery in my sega genesis portable. The contacts were right just had to put spacers in to make it fit. Works great!

Wouldn’t Charge at All – Questionable Capacity Claims
I purchased the Kastar NB-5L Battery (2-Pack) for Canon PowerShot hoping for a reliable and affordable backup option for my Canon camera. On paper, it sounded promising—especially with the stated 1500mAh battery capacity, which suggested decent longevity for extended shooting sessions. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the start. The biggest issue? The batteries would not charge properly. No matter how I positioned them or retried the process, they simply wouldn’t hold a charge. A battery’s primary purpose is reliability, and this one failed at the most basic level. As for the advertised 1500mAh capacity, I seriously question that claim. Even if the labeling says 1500mAh, it’s hard to believe when the batteries won’t even power up consistently. Longevity is supposed to be the selling point—but without proper charging, that number feels more like marketing than reality. Overall, I cannot recommend these as dependable replacements. When it comes to camera gear, especially batteries, reliability matters. Unfortunately, this set did not deliver.

Battery definitely lasts longer than the original Canon battery. Worked great for my trip.

I got these for an old camera I picked up that had one old battery. These charge up fast and they last a long time. Work really good.

Perfect Replacement for Original Canon Battery
I can't speak to the ultimate longevity of the battery, but it charged in a standard Canon charger and fit perfectly in the camera. Even if the batteries only function for 12 to 18 months - it's still an incredible deal. Camera: Canon Power Shot SX200IS Update: The batteries have now gone through several deep charge/discharge cycles, and they put the original Canon batteries to shame in terms of capacity and reliability. Great deal for great batteries.
