Excellent Quality
I recently purchased the Kershaw Blur Navy Blue Pocket Knife, and it exceeded my expectations in many ways. The knife has a striking navy blue handle and a stonewashed blade finish that gives it a unique, rugged look. This is my second Kershaw Blur since I lost the first one, and I didn't hesitate to buy it again because of its excellent quality and value. The assisted opening mechanism is a standout feature—it's smooth and effortless, making it easy to operate with one hand. The ergonomically designed handle feels great in my hand and provides a secure grip, thanks to the Trac-Tec inserts. The blade itself is extremely sharp and functional, holding its edge well with just occasional fine-tuning. Overall, this knife is a solid choice for anyone needing a reliable and stylish everyday carry tool.

Outstanding Knife for EDC
This knife has everything I could have wanted for everyday carry. The surface of the scales makes for a great grip -- not soft or smooth, but rough enough that I know I will never drop it. Yeah, right. Of course I'll drop it, probably in sand or mud, on rock, concrete, or hard floors at home. This is why I buy this brand of knife. I know that if it does break I will take advantage of the guarantee, which should take care of any problems I may have. In shopping for this knife I received a crash course in metallurgy. I studied up on many of the characteristics of knife blades. I thought I wanted D2 or MagnaCut or M390 or one of the other fantastic steels available for knives. The problem I found with these outstanding metals is that I would not be able to sharpen them effectively myself. I chose Sandvik 14C28N which is a high end steel, holds an edge, and will not be too difficult for me to sharpen. If I ever do want to sharpen it back to factory specs I can just send it in to Kershaw and they will do it for me. I've learned that there's no "best" knife steel. I've also learned that there are many great steels available, one of which will be suitable for a person's individual needs. I chose Sandvik 14C28N as a great steel for me, and the Kershaw Blur with this steel does a terrific job of fitting my needs. By the way, the assisted opening works very well. The only negative I have about the knife is that it rides high in my pocket and so is easily seen.

Great edc
So far this has been my favorite edc knife, I carry it everywhere and every day. It’s sharp and solid but only thing is the blade shape is a little wavy so it’s harder to sharpen

Great EDC knife!
This is an awesome EDC knife! Sharp right out of the box, easy open action and nice looking. It’s a little bulky but not enough for me to stop carrying it. You will be impressed.

One of the best pocket knifes I've ever owned-- 110% recommened
I've done write-ups recently on a few other knives in this caliber (pocket'ish)/price range ($80-200). Pros: Virtual everything about this knife is perfect (98/100 points). The action to open and close is fast (the spring assist is amazingly fast and accurate). The finish is flawless from blade to grip (and seriously-- RAZOR sharp). Flippable 'belt' clip, textured grips... very sensible in length-- you can carry this in a pocket/purse without question. I can't emphasize enough how perfect the thumb-stud to opening-action actually is.. The only, minor (and seriously MINOR) thing is that the belt clip itself is a little too "strong" and after multiple uses in a pocket can take a toll on the fabric-- likely you can adjust this with a little tweaking and/or you may actually prefer that. (Take a look at some of my other reviews-- blades that cost more...and this still beats them hands down)

Quick and useful
Have used this knife daily for two years straight. Blade cracked at the thumb stud after a year but Kershaw replaced it free. Seems to be a frequent failure judging by the reviews. The assisted opening is a must in my work. It's usually deployed one-handed by necessity and there can't be any fiddling around because the cutting task is often an emergency and it must be done quickly. Needs sharpening fairly often because I use it several times daily but it sharpens up quickly with a diamond hone. Besides the blade failure it’s been a no nonsense and hard working knife.

Another Home Run from Kershaw
I have so many knives, I won't buy one unless it truly catches my eye. The 'best of' reviews and the bright blue color of this knife did just that. Upon receiving it, I am not disappointed. For $60, you get a stonewashed Sandvik steel blade with an anodized aluminum handle. I was able to slice newspaper right out of the box. It is hefty enough to know you are holding good steel, but light enough to be comfortable. Some reviewers have complained about how rough the thumb-studs are. I think it's a great innovation: much easier to deploy than a round thumb-stud. The SpeedSafe assisted opening works as expected: quick and solid. I avoided buying a Blur in the past because the handle looks kind of generic, but the Trac-Tec inserts put it over the top for me. I was concerned that they might peel off over time, but they are recessed into the handle and feel very solid. The photos are pretty accurate for once, but the blue finish has kind of a soft glow that is very appealing, like a Blue Angels jet fighter. If you can afford a high-quality, made in the USA knife, this one is a bargain.
