Bombay Jam Bollywood Dance Workout - DVD

Love this! The disc time is 98 minutes. You can select the different levels of the workout. The songs are fun and peppy. The movements are fun Bollywood dance moves but are a great workout for both upper and lower body. There is simply a white background for the dancers/instructor, which I was skeptical about at first, but I like now. The disc has the option of viewing a slower step-by-step instruction to the routines before the playing the routine. The routines are narrated by the main person as they are performed (not voiced over), like regular routines you do in group exercise class (or the exercise shows on TV). This was a great buy! I love love love this video. I've been doing home zumba for years now and have different advance dance videos. I wanted to try something different and this is perfect -- I love the music, very upbeat, and workout levels get your heart rate going, the moves are easy to follow. I love it.

poor quality DVD, picture is not clear at all. Also, the instructor just jumped into the moves without any instruction. There is no step by step guide through the moves as advertised. I could not even get through the warm up without having to pause a few times and rewind because she went so fast. I do not recommend this for a beginner or those who are new to Bollywood style dance.

I have to say I love this workout! It is the cardio dance combo that I have been looking for! Music is great! You can choice if you want instructions or not! I also love that you can hear the instructor speaking but that the music is still a tone higher! Another thing I have been looking for in a workout most times the voice is higher! The toning sections were also nice does not feel to hard while you are working but get the sore muscle feeling later! I think this workout has to be my favorite dance video in a long time and I have a lot of workout DVDs!

Fun workout. Feels more like dancing than working out and for someone that hates to workout(me!) this is a godsend. Will take some practice to be able to follow all the moves exactly but this the most fun I've had working out. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is I don't like the ab workout at all. Seems too short and I can do without the whole planking thing (which is half the ab workout). I can't speak to results as I just started using it yesterday but I can't see why it wouldn't work..Other than that, I would recommend to anyone looking to have fun and workout at the same time.

The introductory tracks promise to break down the steps in the setup instructions, but no such instructions exist. For the dance routines, you’re on your own. You have to struggle to pick up the steps as they move along at breakneck speed. Until you learn the steps, you lose a significant benefit of the cardio just trying to figure them out. The toning segments are a little bit better, because they move at a slow enough pace that you can see what they’re actually doing. But since there are many Bollywood exercise videos out there that are as high-energy as this one and that actually explain the moves, buy one of those. Don’t waste your money on this one.

Great workout at home verses going to Zumba at the gym, since they have been closed most of the year (2020). I love that it's bollywood! The background in all white, which means there are no distractions, I can focus on the instructor and the team with her. They are all beautiful and cheerful. I find myself smiling and learning some neat hand movements done in India.

This dvd is a fun change from the other dvds I use. It is a little challenging to get the moves, until you have done it a few times. One thing to note is that even though it says it is an hour workout, it is not. From the beginning to the end of the 'one hour workout' option on the menu, it is actually about 48 minutes, about 1/2 of which includes several short cardio sections, the rest a group of cardio/toning sections.
