I recently upgraded from an old coffee maker I had for years, and this one is such a great improvement. The programmable feature lets me wake up to fresh coffee, which makes mornings so much easier before work. It has a sleek design that looks great on my counter, and the removable water reservoir makes filling and cleaning simple. The adjustable warming plate keeps my coffee hot, which is a must. The coffee tastes smooth and flavorful, and I like that I can choose between Classic and Rich depending on how strong I want it. The clean feature is a great bonus and makes maintenance easy. Overall, a reliable, easy-to-use coffee maker with all the right features.

We just received this coffee maker yesterday after our high-end fancy Technivorn machine died from 6 years of daily use. We like the fact that it was highly rated and it was well under $100 and so far, we are happy with its operation, it’s designed and functionality. It was important to us that it had this capacity and the ability to set the machine in advance to make coffee the next morning, as well as to keep it warm once it’s brewed. It was also important that it had the ability to clean itself, so the clean cycle will certainly come in handy. The coffee we made today was excellent, perhaps even a little strong because we started out using the strong mode button so we may back off tomorrow just to see the difference and also adjust the dosage because we used 12 heaping scoops and it came out a little bit strong. We will update this review if necessary, but so far so good!

I decided to purchase this coffee maker after reading an excellent review of coffee makers by Wirecutter. I normally drink one mug of coffee each morning and did not know what to expect from a 12 cup coffee maker. I didn't realize how terrible tasting my coffee has been while using a small inexpensive coffee maker from another brand. I really like the ease of use of this coffee maker and fact that the smaller brew option resulted in very good, smooth mug of coffee. I also love the permanent cone filter instead of the paper cup shaped filter used in my inexpensive coffee maker. Once again it appears the Wirecutter reviews led me to a superior product and at a very reasonable cost ! One caution-apparently not all models of this coffee maker come with the permanent filter. I really like that feature and would closely check the included parts description before purchase.

We were devoted to the Cuisinart brand for a longtime, but finally realized their products were getting too cheap and crappy and we were going through them every other year. Decided to give this one a try and we've been very happy with it! It's simple to use and a really nice, compact size for the countertop. We like the option to brew a classic or bold style brew. There's a coffee scoop that attaches to the side, which is a nice feature. It also has a small batch (1-4c) option that allows you to make a single cup without having a big K-cup style component on the side of the machine. The other thing we really like is the detachable water reservoir so you can fill that directly at the sink instead of having to pour water into the top of the machine like our old Cuisinart one. If I was being picky, the two pitfalls of this machine are: #1 the coffee scoop is the equivalent of 1 cup of coffee, so if you're doing a full batch you have to do 12 scoops. Wish it was bigger so the scoop was the equivalent of 2 cups of coffee, meaning for a full pot you only have to measure out 6 scoops instead of 12. #2 when you fill the reservoir for a full batch of coffee (12c) the water is basically at the top edge of the reservoir. Just makes for a precarious walk from sink back to coffee machine. We've spilled a bunch. Again, these are nitpicks, but I know people like to hear all the details. Would hands down recommend this coffee machine to anyone.
