Southern Buttermilk Chicken Fry Mix, 1 Count

There is almost zero flavor. How does that happen?! It smells great in the bag/box but after using, according to the directions, it all disappeared. I made it three ways and still no flavor. I'm truly astounded because everyone else says how "amazing" it is. Unless they are just used to no flavor in their food? I'm not sure.

I have been using Zatarain products for years so I was happy to see the chicken fry coating mix. I have never been able to make fried chicken as delicious as my grandma made. There is nothing better for Sunday dinner than delicious fried chicken. My husband & I were delighted when we tasted this fried chicken. I have ordered 6 more boxes

I like the taste of chicken with this product. It is easy to use and you don't have to use too much to obtain good results, I like the crispness of the chicken.

A pleasant find this product represents! Easy to use, great texture and delicious flavor. I fried cauliflower in this as a wet and dry batter, the results were phenomenal. A must try for golden fried perfections!!!!

I used it like Shake & Bake in my air fryer. Tasted great with just a hint of spiciness. Nice and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. This was a home run at the dinner table!

It’s just ok. The first time I made it I kind of thought it tasted like Chik-fil-A tenders. The second time I made chicken with this mix a few months later I didn’t like the taste at all. I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy this again.

MAKE THE CHICKEN JUICY AND MOIST ON THE INSIDE WHILE THE CRUST IS CRUSHY & CHRISP. FAVOR IS A GOOD MIX OF INGREDIENTS.

I've never had such good luck with a breading. There's a fish fry one that's good as well.
