Built Well, Sounds Great
I put two of these in 15” peavey cabs, and they fit great! I had 0 issues with size or fitment. Of course the mounting holes may not line up, but that’s expected. Just use self tapping screws and you’re good. These sound really good! I needed a lower wattage speaker at 4 ohms for my current amp setup for an acoustic group I’m in and these fit the bill. I have used black widows in the past and some large JBL dual 15 setups, and I would be hard pressed to tell a difference. Higher wattage is different, but these do a fantastic job.Construction seems top notch and consistent with higher end models. Baskets are really sturdy, materials are good, Sits flush after mounting, and the solder joints were good.Overall, you can’t go wrong here in my opinion. This was exactly what I needed, and my expectations were exceeded.

Great. WAY better then my oem C. Vega 15's
I haven't shopped many 15" woofers. I'm sure there is better. But not at this price. Or two times the price. I see things that look better starting at three times the cost. But they seem equal until you spend about 150.00 plus. But I am sure you can come close to this fir , 65.00?But I dunno. This is SO much deeper and harder hitting then the O.E.M. Cerwin Vega 15" home speakers circa 1996. The magnet assembly -vented!- is large. Twice the size if the vega nearly. Well over twice the size and then some vs OEM technics and Pioneer 15s of the early nineties. It was also almost twice larger then the Definitive Technologies 12" woofers magnet. They are PRICEY.The YouTube bass sweep saw these cones flapping at 5 hz. Audible at 10hz. Loud at 17hz. House rattling at 18-19hz. Punches you harder by farrrrrrrr then my Velodynde servo 12" sub circa '10.These are great.Very little overhang. They are quick. My Velodynde sub is a bloated sluggish thing I always hated. With the pleated surround and relative tighness of the cone they move in and out quicker then my other speakers. (Save my magneplanars and small studio monitor speakers that haven't that much bass to BE sluggish with- a 8" or less woofer has a hard time even being sluggish at all in my experience. )The company makes a model with a half roll surround I surmise has 'better' excursion and may play low louder. But I doubt it's as quick....Like I say I haven't played the field much in this class of speakers. But I do know a thing or two. These are fabulous for the price and ate great- period. They are a SUBSTANTIAL upgrade to my OEM cerwin vega woofers- to the point that the modded Vegas play louder and tighter then my Definitive Technology 12" powered bipolar towers. I think as low too. But maybe a hair less low. Well. The stock Cerwin Vegas (the surround gave out, but before that...) never bettered anything about the def techs before. So this is solid as you need fir things of that , and dare I say JBL , any short of Everest anyway,.. if you have B&w or PMC 12"s, then please, look fir better than these. But for me- its already better then before...Get them I say.

Perfect on a budget
I needed some affordable drivers for my vintage JBL 4550 bass horn. These fit perfectly with no modifications and give powerful and accurate sound. They are very efficient and clean sounding at low and high volume and a good match for the aesthetics of the box.

I love these speakers
I love these speakers, as reviewed above they do play nicely in the D-9 speaker set up. There is one issue they do not fit cabinet with out some work you need to shave off 1/4 inch all around the bass port with a wood file and redrill the mounting screw holes other then that well worth the price and labor. Amazon is awesome these shipped from out of state and still got here in one day!!!!
