Mail Order Bride: Westward Destiny: A Clean Historical Mail Order Bride Romance Novel (Montana Mail Order Brides) Review: Delightful clean listen - A touching listen with true emotions that really touch your heart. We met Luke before when his bride left him standing all alone brokenhearted and not understanding what just happen. His story really touched my heart I felt his pain and sorrow. This is his story and his race to find his happy ever after with one foot in his mouth and the other high tailing it to get his women back after a few misunderstandings. Both Luke and Jamie are broken souls both wanting a family and someone they can call their own. Jamie is a little on the wild side and not what you would call you normal lady but that is OK with Luke just not some family members. Things are looking up that is until she meets his parents and as we all know mothers-in-laws can be a hard pill to swallow. Things start going downhill as Luke finds his self in one mess after another. The narrator does a wonderful job delivering true emotions to the story, you always know who is talking and just what that are feeling. There are no repeating of words, no background noise just a truly enjoyable listen that pulls you in. His normal voice is very pleasant as well as his character voices, his voice is easy to listen to and gave me many hours of enjoyment. He made me feel the pain and sorrow each character is going through as well as the excitement and danger that comes with this story. With his narration he made me understand why some people act the way they do and that not everything is as it seems. For me he bought this story to life making it easy to picture each scene as it was happening. His performance was top of the line pulling me in giving me a listen I couldn’t put down. If you haven’t listened to any of his audios you don’t know what you are missing. Jamie isn’t well liked at all, women are jealous of her for many reasons. She isn’t looking for a love match she had a wonderful marriage she just wants someone who will take care of her, give her a family and be her friend but most of all to take her like she is. Luke is ready to try again but this time he isn’t looking for love he just wants a partner someone to have a family with. Both got more than they asked for and gave us the reader lots of laughs as well as a little sorrow. I thought this was well written, the author gives you both sides making you feel both their pains as well as the turmoil that goes with it. The story is very entertaining and holds your attention. There is a little bit of everything from romance, broken hearts and danger. There are lots of laughs, a few giggles and a lot of love that went into this story. You get to see the past characters, they play a big role in this story. It was so nice to see them and see the changes they have made. I really liked how Jamie was a lady but more of a today lady who isn’t ashamed to tell it like it is and be herself. She puts on no airs and is very cute and loving. I was so glad to see Luke finds happiness. I thought it was a great story and had trouble putting it down. I can’t wait to read more of this series. Review: happy times and end in a happy ending - The Montana Mail Order Brides books are enjoyable stories that are each complete without the feeling of being rushed through and entwine the characters into the other books within the series. As most romance books each couple has their ups and downs, inner battles, heartaches, happy times and end in a happy ending. It combines different cultures and the hardships and struggles that goes along with it. I found this to be a great mix in the story and was well done. Once I finish one book I quickly buy the next book as I want to see what will happen to another character. I recommend to read the book and series to anyone that likes romance.

Loved it!
This book was very good. I'm hooked on her books each, person is so different. I've enjoyed them all. Each book reflects on a previous person in a earlier book. Which lets you feel like your in a town growing with it as you read.

Awesome writing
Have an old-fashioned book reading (that was loaned to me it's a love inspired suspense. There's a group that pass them around in our high-rise. So I manually have add the book.

Westward Destiny
The Mail Order Bride books give a completely different view of the settling of the western states. It certainly makes you understand not all the women who came West didn't necessarily come with a husband by wagon train. It's an interesting concept to explore & Author Bridey does a great job of helping you do so. She makes her characters believable with just enough levity to make you really like them. Her story's are great & interesting enough to make it hard to lay your book down; & in many instances when you do, you find yourself wondering "what's next?" O enjoy her writing, I enjoy reading her work!

Can't Judge A Book By The Cover
I am enjoying this series. The very first page of this book made me think the author doesn't have much concept of a mans size. If you say a guy is big yes 6 foot 3 inches is tall but 180 lbs does not make for a big man. At that tall he would look anorexic. And that isnt how I have pictured Seth so far in these books. Other than that it everything seems okay. This book itself is about Luke Samuels. He is a cousin to the rest of the boys. After being jilted at the alter he decides to take out an add for a mail order bride. Jamie is a flirty lady who is a widow. Having to on occasion use her looks to get things she is a breath of fresh air for Luke. Even if his mom doesn't like her.

Mail Order Bride: Westward Destiny
This wasn't my favorite by far because I had a hard time liking Jamie, especially her drinking and carousing. True she was kind-hearted and was good with the children and most people liked her but she didn't seem to fit with the rest of the characters. If the author had toned it down some then it might have been different. Now Luke was another matter entirely. A big bear of a man, he was quiet and rather shy and totally likeable. Their story was sweet and I look forward to reading the next installment where maybe me feelings towards Jamie will change.

A New Branch of the Family
When twenty-four-year-old Luke Samuels, cousin of Dean, Seth, and Marcus Samuels, submits an ad for a mail order bride, he has no idea that Jamie Collins will become the love of his life. Luke had been heartbroken two years earlier when he was jilted at the altar by his fiancee, Charlene, who failed to appear. Now Luke is willing to advertise for a wife. Jamie responds to the ad by describing herself as being a twenty-six-year-old widow, who has auburn hair and green eyes, is fun-loving, loves to sing and play poker, wants children, and is skilled in cooking and keeping house. After a brief courtship by mail, Jamie leaves North Dakota for her new life in Montana. A period of adjustment occurs as Luke and Jamie grow close. The Samuels families now consist of Maureen and Geoffrey, who have moved from Pittsburgh and now reside in Dawson County, Dean and Tessa and their five children, Seth and Maddie and their son, Marcus and Claire, who is now pregnant with their first child, and Aiyana, Marcus' daughter, and Luke and Jamie, who are anxious to start their family. Marcus also has three half-brothers and one half-sister, who also have families. The related families are growing by leaps and bounds. The book ends with Luke's and Jamie's wedding, and the author drops a hint for the continuing saga of Montana brides. I liked this series enough to purchase the next novel in the series.
