Is there a "dead mouse odor" after the mice die from this product?

I had hired a professional pest guy and he did use a product that looked like this (red bait). Yes, there was some that did die in the walls BUT I did place a fragrant dryer sheet. The mice will decompose for there is nothing to them. I will buy this product to use in my shed, under the deck and under my brothers porch. See ya mice.

The block have a hole through them...Their designed to be put in a rodent bait station so that the rodents can't carry them off...You put three blocks in the bait stationwith the metal rod through the blocks (This prevents them from carry the blocks away which they will if you just have them sitting some where). This way you keep the population decimated. I've been using this for five years now....Itworks and we live in a rural area of Nevada surrounded by farms so the rodent population is high. Rodents only like to travel short distances from theirnests so if you keep the population down around your house that is the goal. Any more questions just ask.

I don't think it matters, we just leave these laying around our sheds in various places. We do have some trap boxes/bait stations but we don't put the poison inside. We store boys toys (cycles, boats, pontoons, campers, etc.) over the winter in our sheds and really need to keep the mouse population at bay, this has been working great, so far no problems. If you have pets running around this way probably won't work for you. If that's the case the size of the chunks is about 2 to 3" long by 1" around which should give you some idea of how big your bait station should be.
