Okay product, good quality, klunky user interface, sound quality issue
Bought for wife. Must be simple and consistent to use in the car with good sound quality or she won't like. The SuperTooth is a quality item. I like the voice options and easy pairing. Good volume in the car. Powerful sound.Unfortunately, the user interface was a bit involved. To voice dial, for example, you must press the main button, listen for the prompt, then listen for the beep, then say "Voice Dial" to get started. Because this first beep in the process was a bit delayed, I found myself talking over the beep by the time it finally came. Then you can begin the "call ..." command. Often, the voice recognition wasn't precise which is probably more due to the phone (LG Chocolate Touch), my voice inside the car and compounded by road noise, than the SuperTooth. But it was a ten or so second process that often failed and had to be repeated. Needed something simpler and more reliably accurate. Also, at highway speeds in a sedan with the windows up, my voice was scratchy and distant to those I called. I realize this will vary by car, road surface, etc., but I expected more from the SuperTooth since it has the two microphones that I had hoped would measure and cancel out ambient noise to promote clearer sound.Yesterday, we bought a Jabra Journey from a big box store just to try it out. Simpler to use, easier voice dial process, slimmer fit on the visor, and acceptable sound. We decided to return the SuperTooth and go with Jabra.

Outstanding Product
I've tried various in car hands-free kits over the past 15 years, from custom-installed, phone specific kits, to integrated blue-tooth enabled built-in systems, to at least 10 different portable units similar to this. Of course, having a vehicle with built-in bluetooth integration is always the best way to go (Ford Sync, On-star, etc) but for everyone else, this is hands down the best option I've used to date, as it has solved most of the problems I've faced with all the other portable units in the past. Here's a quick list of issues I've run into with just about every other portable bluetooth car unit I've tried:- speaker never loud enough at higher speeds (anywhere from 45mph+)- FM integration too prone to interface, and for long trips, you must change frequencies often- microphone quality vastly differs, some are good, most are not.- temperature extremes impact performance of the portable unit. The HD's speaker is unbelievably loud - and in most cases, too loud. I don't see this as a problem - as with horsepower and firepower, too loud is just enough! I can easily reduce the volume with the large volume control without losing focus on my driving. Being able to hold a conversation at higher speeds and actually hear the person I'm speaking with is the number 1 feature for a car speakerphone, and this speaker is up to the task. There's no FM integration, so no need to fumble around with that, especially when driving. Did I mention that the speaker is loud enough?I've had everyone tell me that this unit sends my voice much more clearly than the last few I've used, though they still can tell I'm in my vehicle. The controls are very easy to use, and conducive to safe driving practices. You only need to turn on the HD once, when you do the initial pairing. The HD will shut itself off after a few minutes when the phone disconnects (aka you walk away from the bluetooth range of the device), and turn itself back on after entering the vehicle. (There is a caveat to this - I live in an apartment, and if I park close to the apartment, sometimes the phone stays connected to the HD. If this is the case, I just use my phone settings to disconnect from the HD.) The only control you really need to use is the volume control knob, with also functions as a voice command activation button - twist the knob for volume, press the center of the knob (like a button) to activate voice commands. This control is very large, and easy to manipulate without losing focus on driving.I have not used the trial for the voice assist type function for email/text/etc. If I do, I'll update this with my thoughts on that.As always, your experience may differ, as some phones might not work with all functions of the HD. I have a Galaxy Nexus, and everything works very well - my only complaint is phone related (the volume of the phone's voice dialer is way too low over bluetooth). This device is an awesome value for the cost. I highly recommend it for anyone who drives and uses a mobile phone.

Good features, but very poor voice sound quality
I ordered this product based on positive reviews. After testing it extensibly, the conclusion is it looks good, has good features, and is easy to use. However, I think most reviews stop here, and very few focus on the most important feature of a Bluetooth speakerphone: the sound, not the one you hear, but how well people on the other end can hear and understand you. That is where this otherwise nice product fails. The road noise was unbelievable, even while driving at 10-20 mph on a smooth road, in a very new car. Yes, when you are using it, you can hear your caller loud and clear, but your caller can barely understand your words. I think if most reviewers looked carefully into this, there would probably be more negative reviews. We tried this product for weeks, in multiple conditions, with multiple callers. All complained about the same: excessive noise, and a conversation that just could not be followed.Unfortunately, I returned this speakerphone. I then purchased the Jabra TOUR here on Amazon, and what a difference!! Not only is it slightly cheaper, but the sound quality on the other end of the line is just amazing. On the Jabra TOUR, voice sounds much clearer, road noise is not nearly as pronounced, and the features are pretty much the same. I highly recommend the Jabra TOUR.So my advice is, don't go just by how well you can hear your callers; ask them if they can hear you well. This SuperTooth HD definitely fails to deliver.

Superb tooth
I am thoroughly enjoying my super tooth HD, I have had two other types prior and nothing even comes close to this as far as ease of use and voice clarity. This unit automatically connects when entering vehicle so there is no chance of forgetting. I would highly recommend this product and Amazon for their prompt service.

Great Handsfree Product
There were only a couple of things that were slightly disappointing with this product. One was that I have a HTC desire phone and it won't allow me to ring just anyone in my address book via voice command. However, with having a number of pre-fixed numbers I still have all the numbers I would want to dial hands free stored and I can use my phone to quickly click any contact to dial out when stationery. All incoming calls are recognised and announced. My partners I-phone address book works fine. The other was the assistant where you can text by voice command - this is a free trial service and then costs. Decided to still give it full stars as it does what I needed it for and it has a number of good points. It was easy to set up - instuctions provided gave plenty of information to be able to set up and use the product fully. Easy volume adjustment through turning the large button, fixes strongly and easily to the sun visor. Battery seems to last very well(I'm still on my first charge). I find it is nice and clear and it links up to other applications on my phone such as spoken navigation and text to speech for incoming texts. I have even used it when not in the car as it allows me to use the speakerphone so I'm hands free to get on with other things and find the speech quality and reception better than just using my phone!Good quality product.

Probably The Best Bluetooth Speakerphone Out There
As with all tech products the only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that there is always room for improvement. Although the speaker is extremely loud as advertised it can become distorted with certain calls and as is not as clear as I would of liked. That being said, of all the Bluetooth speaker devices I've used this is by far the loudest and clearest. I find it funny that they boast that this would replace a native Bluetooth in car speaker, it's good but not good enough to replace a factory installed Bluetooth system. Also, the mic could be a lot more sensitive since I've found callers have had a hard time hearing me if I'm not directing my voice to the device. All in all this is a pretty solid device, best out there by far.

Good handsfree!
Bought this model as you can connect 2 phones at the same time, My work phone and my personal phone. Works really well and sound quality good. Only gripe is the message button which is useless.
