Dinosaur Set (A detailed review.)This dinosaur set includes 12 really detailed dinosaurs, 8 trees (2 different styles), a felt mat and a small book. See attached pictures.THE BOOK is more of an accordion style 4-3/4” x 4-3/4” pamphlet that tells you how to pronounce each dinosaur name and a couple facts about each one. Just the right size for small hands.THE DINOSAURS themselves are easily a five star. I am not sure I like the VERY BLUE color on the one dinosaur but my son and his friends loved everything about all the dinosaurs. They are one solid molded piece, awesomely detailed and very sturdy. They will hold up to a lot of hard play.THE TREES are neat and the three-year-old that played with this set loved the trees best. The trees however can have their leaf pieces come off easily. If your child eats things or sticks things in their ears, nose, etc you may want to remove the trees and set them back till they are older.THE FELT MAT is great. It is thicker than the thin plastic mats In most sets. It held up well to several boys playing with it. It has even been stepped on several times with no damage. The mat is more of a carnival scene with an entry banner saying “Dinosaur Park”. The older boys liked the mat but wished there was a dig site and some cages available. They did not play with the mat for very long before taking the dinosaurs elsewhere in the room and setting up a dig site and Dinosaur battle area. Side note....It would be nice if both sides of the mat had different scenery. Park on one side Dino battle area or dig site for older kids on the other.THE CONTAINER. One of two reasons I debated between a four star and a five star rating for this set. It is great that this set comes with a storage container. It is not big enough to hold the play mat. Just the dinosaurs and trees fit in. Everything needs to go in just right or they won’t fit. This rules out young kids being able to put the Dino’s in the container themselves. It is also a super thin plastic. Upon arrival the container was cracked in two places from top to bottom. I asked for a replacement and the new container has one crack. It is just too thin to hold up. The shipping boxes were in perfect condition both times. They were both shipped in cold weather. Maybe the plastic got too cold and became brittle? If that happened even the dinosaurs banging around inside could have broken it. I really don’t know but I do know I have never seen such a thin plastic container before. I do like the splash of color the orange handles and clasps add to the container. A sturdier, slightly larger plastic container would definitely solidify a five star rating with this set.SUMMARY I really like this set and definitely think it is worth the price. I would plan on a different storage container though.

Bought for our grandson and he fell in love with it. It's great for the price and he plays with it often still today as I bought around Christmas. Comes with many figurines to play with along with the mat and tote to store it all in.

My 3 year old loves this! I love that it includes a carrying case. I wish the trees were a bit more durable but my little boy may just be tough on stuff. It comes with a little pamphlet to learn the dinosaur names which is nice too.

My son loved this gift and still plays with these dinosaurs after years! Very cute you and comes with Alot

As I mentioned in my title I'm a kinder teacher and my students love them the boys and the girls. There's a lot of pretend being done with them and they really look life like.Great for fun, choice time and/or when you're doing a a dinosaur curriculum theme.

Bought for my nephew- he loves Dinosaurs but he really wasn’t interested in this play set, it was very basic and he enjoyed his other dinosaurs birthday toys better. He’s almost 5- would say this product is probably mor suited to 2-3 year olds
