It really depends on the type of skin you have. i am older and my skin is still quite oily so this one is perfect but they have a different one Sandalwood and ylang ylang for dry and sensitive that my be more suitable, hope that helps.

Tea tree oil is a photosensitive ingredient. Is it safe to use this cream during th day?

In my view it is save to use any time. I have been using tea tree oil for many years for all my cuts and wounds without any problems. And this cream has many other ingrediencies, tea tree is only a small part of it.
