Papo Mini Tub's Knights Toy

Tube is very small-coke can size! My son saw these and wanted them for 5th birthday knight party. I was kind of shocked when they arrived. Knights are size indicated but because the packaging is so small, it doesn’t look like a very impressive gift. That being said, he’s had them for almost 5 months and still enjoys playing with them and Likes that they are so small. I ended up putting them on the cake and bought him the full size Papo knights as one of his gifts which he also loves. These small ones have so much detail and we don’t have any problems standing them up on flat surface. My son didn’t mind not all knights have horses. In the end, it was worth what I paid and we’ve been very satisfied with the quality.

Five year old boy and three year old girl loved these knights and horses. They have a wooden castle with some figures but not enough. These are too small really for the castle but both children loved them and played with them outside of the castle. The colors are nice and bright and the knights fit on the horses. The horses do stand up on their own.

This was part of a knight themed gift…loved the quality and price was great and my nephew loved it!

Torn between the high quality and the poor design choice. 12 figures in the tube, 8 knights designed to ride (they only work on horseback, none stand alone) and 4 horses... all knights and horses are beautifully detailed and painted... very excellent work for the diminutive size of the knights (the entire 12-pack tube is little more than 5 inches tall). Another cool feature, all the shields are removable and can be swapped between knights. Sadly, of the 4 horses needed for the 8 knights, only 2 will stand reliably (the two horses rearing up have very stable bases)... the two horses in a forward trot are very poorly designed where the back right hoof needs to be bent at a terrible angle and the forward right hoof is simply too short/high off the ground for two horses to stand reliably... it's a challenge to get them to stand at all, much less longer for a few seconds... oh and believe me, I tried and tried and tried and tried all sorts of ways to get those two horses to stand... tried every way of bending legs/drapes i could think of to form a solid base... no go... it pretty much means you get 8 knights that need horses and only 2 horses to go around with this pack. That means out of a 12-pack, you're lucky if you get anything beyond two knights (on horseback) at a time to stand on their own... a big drawback to an otherwise beautiful pack of figures.

High quality super tiny collectible toy. My 7 yr old son plays with this frequency, and will likely keep it for many years to come. Packaging was terrible. Purchasers will have to find their own box for storage or gifting.

Adorable, detailed figures that include knights and at least one king. I haven't had a chance to see all of them because my kids are almost constantly playing with them. Swords, shields and lances are removable; knights come off their horses. A very cool toy at a good price point.

Papo mini Knights are of good quality and detail. Some of them do need a little help standing up. As noted by another reviewer, a hair dryer should fix the problem. I love how some of the Knights can be placed on the horses by you instead of being fixed there permanently for you. I would definitely buy these again and will also be looking at more figures made by the same company.

My son loves these, they don't stand up well, and are small but that in no way inhibits his imagination. He plays with them with his other toys too and makes them castle for them out of duplo. A really nice addition for his play.

Loved the detail and good finish of the little figures

He asked for more of them, so he can make a big army. He is a fan of Monty Pythons Holy Grail, so these guys fit the bill greatly. They are sturdier built than the other army soldiers I have bought for them in the past. The plastic feels more flexible. I like how you can put all the soldiers onto the horses. The paint job they did on them is quite impressive considering they are only 2 inches tall. I will be getting more of them.
