Such a neat and practical bin, good size for recycling as well as domestic waste as medium sized so bin doesn't smell by the time it is full. Plus has odour filters. Easy to empty. Love it.

Quality finish, neat footprint, Love that the food waste bin is included within the bin and is not on my counter nor on the floor - so very easy to access. The pull out lower bin is also very helpful, A great design and I'm very pleased with my purchase even though it's a bit pricey for a bin

Have limited space for a bin in the house, previous bins took up too much.The vertical stacking of this bin has a much tidier finish and take up less space.Although the compartments are a good size they are smaller than previous taller bins we've had. As a result I find we are taking the bins out more often which is a good thing really! However the smaller size also makes it alot easier to keep clean.The odour filter works well with food and nappies! However can't comment yet on how long it lasts or needs replaced.JJ bin bags that come with it are great however are expensive to be constantly using, we've used green bags for food from the council with no problems. After some trial and error we've found 50L bin bags from Tesco work just as well as the original bags. Any larger and the bin lid sometimes won't catch correctly and stay closed.

Now I am a huge fan of J&J. Several weeks in, I feel I can give this a fair review. My dog has worked out how to push the recycling section at the bottom out (it's on coasters!!!). The food waste is a great idea, but the lid is just too close a fit so regularly falls into the tub, so gets dirty. For me it could've been a better fit, almost a cap style?The main bin is great and the push button are great, but tge button to open the lid can be a little tempremental!!!The J&J bags are great, but who wants to spend that much on something you throw away?!!!I use normal "caddy" food waste bags, these fit perfectly. I also buy 50L bags, again from wherever your fans are from..These bins are not cheap, I've spent a small fortune on bins over the last few years. Yes there are some imperfections, but I'd still buy this bin again. It's smart looking, easy to clean, comes apart easily to wipe down and empty and takes up a much smaller footprint than most other bins that can take this volume of waste.Go on, treat yourself.

Really good bin, exactly the sizes that we wanted to keep recycling tidied away. Did have problems with the lid opening but a little bit of Vaseline applied to the inner edge of the bin worked amazingly and no further issues.

Great price. I’ve admired this bin for ages, just couldn’t bring myself to pay RRP 199.00So glad I bought. It’s space saving design, well made and looks so good.

You might think it’s quite hard to get excited about a bin...well you’ve obviously not got a Joseph Joseph totem!This is quite simply the best bin ever.I had a bin that had two compartments side by side, to allow me to separate recycling and normal waste, as well as a separate food waste bin.Buying the totem has allowed me to replace these bins, while increasing my waste capacity and using less floor space.There is masses of space in these bins, but due to the vertical nature of them they don’t take up much room.The food waste caddy is a bit on the small side, however I actually quite like this, as it encourages me to empty it more frequently and avoid having a smelly bag of rotten food in the bin for days.The bins are really easy to take out to empty or to clean.Everything about the bin feels quality and it comes with a 10 year warranty.The price of this item is high, I managed to get it on a prime week deal for about £105. However you can pay £150 or more for these.I would normally potentially mark an item down in a review for a high price point and while I do feel £150 is a lot of money for a bin this bin is the best. And sometime you get what you pay for, so if you can afford it, or can get a decent deal then buy it and then you can feel excited about bins!
