Reusable Silicone Moisturizing Mask for Sheet Mask by SMM

This [hand] washable, reusable silicone facial 'mask' is fantastic!! The 'mask' itself does not contain any treatment or product, so in and of itself it's not actually moisturizing, but it is absolutely wonderful for 'sealing' in ANYTHING you put on your face - whether it's a face sheet mask, a liquid, cream, or clay mask, slices of cucumber or lemon, or just your serum and moisturizer! Since the 'mask' is silicone, it is durable and washable - it will quite literally last 'forever' - you will not need to replace it. These make great gifts for anyone into sheet masks, anyone who scratches their face while they sleep (guilty over here), anyone who takes advantage of long air flights (or road trips - in the passenger seat) by wearing masks in their hair and on their face...and doesn't mind looking like a total creep from an Asian horror movie (also guilty over here!), and anyone into more eco-friendly, reusable product skincare solutions. There is a loop on each side to be pulled over your ears so the 'mask' stays snug and in place. If the 'mask' extended a bit longer so you could include your chin/jawline/upper neck area with additional ear loops, I would definitely give it that extra star! ***Disclaimer: I am not your doctor! Please use common sense and don't use this 'mask' with treatments that contain acids, retinols, heating or cooling elements, or other 'intense' ingredients without consulting your doctor first!! Adverse reactions are not fun! Also, for those weirdos like myself who do want to use this 'mask' on an airplane - I only do this on long flights where I'm intending to sleep and I have a long hat or small blanket I can pull over my face - I'm not trying to frighten anyone or cause any 'questions' to come my way, LOL! I do not wear this when I actually intend to ask the flight attendant for tea, or have to use the facilities on the plane...also, don't wear this while driving if you are the driver - just DON'T! ^_^ Use in public at your own discretion and use caution and common sense! I do love this silicone mask cover. However, bear in mind that these are made in Korea, with Korean women as the target demographic. If, like me, you have a large head (and ginormous ears, if I'm being quite honest) this mask can become painful when worn for extended periods of time. I solved this by using a hairtie threaded through one of the ear loops. It works just fine, and does a wonderful job of keeping the sheet masks I use moist all day while I sleep.

This is a sister product for holding in place the sheet masks that are currently all the rage in Korea. It is made of silicon, so it prevents the sheet masks from drying out. While it is a quality product and reusable, the masks may not fit every face that well. I found that the upper lip and placement of the mouth did not fit me properly, and I was constantly needing to adjust it. I would probably recommend doing a "dry" run and making the adjustments to the mask before you add the sheet mask.

Some what small for my face. Although it stretches, I find I remove the ear loops after 5 mins because of the constant pressure. Expect a long wait for shipping !

I use this to put over my paper mask to help keep it in place. I like to do things around the house while I have my mask on, and sometimes the paper mask don't stay on. Very useful and reusable! It barely fits around the ears/entire face area. ...so not sure if it'll for everyone.

Works great and makes my sheet masks last for up to an hour or so, but you'll look like a serial killer. I dinged one star because it's very tight on the ears, and there's no way to adjust.

I purchased this item to help hold sheet masks in place. It's a fantastic idea but suffers a little in the execution. I admit that some reviews I'd read stated that the mask was too small and didn't tuck behind the ears properly, but I purchased it anyway. The same problem occurred when I tried to use it - the ear loops don't even really reach my ears. Yes, they stretch, but it would be painful to keep them in place as they pull on my ears, not to mention they'd probably stretch out and break fairly quickly as the loops are thin.Having said that, the mask still does help somewhat with keeping a sheet mask in place, not as much as I'd hoped, but it's an improvement over wearing the sheet mask alone which always falls off unless you're lying down. The product itself is well made and rinses off and dries easily. I just wish it came in a slightly bigger size.

Love this mask, stays in place and thick enough that it can be washed and not likely to tare
