My Mom is petite - about 5'1". I know the pants will be long (I can hem them), but what about the jacket - would it be too long for her?

I am5'2 and ordered my regular size. Pants were a little long but was wearing heels so no hem needed. Top was a great fit.

Kind of confuse... so, the jacket not a real jacket? The inside that look like lace blouse is attached to a he so called jacket?

I think they tucked it in just to show what the waist line of the pants look like. The jacket cannot be unattached.

Can you separate the shell from the jacket?

No. The top of the shell is attached to the jacket.
