Dirndl Womens 3-Piece Longer-length Dirndl with Red Trailing Pattern

This is a delightful dirndl. It requires a slip to make it hang correctly and a push up or strapless bra. It is cotton so it must be ironed. I thought the apron was a little small so I ordered another one that has polyester in it to reduce the ironing - it is a bit longer and has longer ties. Part of the elastic gathering was off the apron. The detail work in the bodice area is really terrific and intricate. The metal chain holders are edelweiss. I knew that the fit was going to be a bit off - I elected to make sure the waist fit more than the bust. Be sure and measure before ordering. This arrived promptly as expected.

This has a side zipper that was hard to zip up. The waist is tight in proportion to the bust line that was very loose under the arms. I like the detail of the embroidery on front, but had to send it back.

Looked exactly as pitctured. The fabric is better than expected despite its description - it is a cool cotton & weave fabric with nice metal embellishments. However the fit was way off, and the fabric with no give it is critical... Euro size is usually larger, not smaller as here - my 40/supposed to be a 10 is more like size 6/8.

Very pretty & well-made. The bodice is fully lined, which gives extra support. Dirndles should be tight in the bodice & loose in the skirt, and this is - I'm between a size 6 & 8, got a 38 & a 40, and the 38 fit pretty well. Snug in the ribcage, as it should be. Unfortunately, the ample cleavage in the picture didn't come with the dress - if you're not a B cup or larger, it's less spectacular! The blouse seemed a bit big & has a drawstring you don't see in the picture, so you can bunch the middle down into a deeper V... on me, the edge of the blouse was only maybe 1" higher than the top of the bodice. The apron is as long as the skirt, which I don't like the look of as well as the dresses with shorter aprons.

This is a nice looking dress and the quality seems to be just fine. So why the two star rating? Well, my wife and I both researched the sizing charts available, including the one directly on the listing. Well, good luck with the sizing. It wasn't even close. And, if you're tall and / or large chested, forget about it.

It's a gorgeous product. Nice authentic detail. I'm going to keep it although it's a little small, because I know it's worth having. It's a great deal and I will fit it better soon I'm sure.

Fabric not that nice and mildly uncomfortable. If you are attending Oktoberfest in Munich, you are better off purchasing something there!

This is a quality product!! The fabrics are nice and thick, but not too hot. I wore this to the Renaissance Faire in April Texas heat (80s). I got tons of compliments. Was able to do some minor alterations (the shoulder straps were too long for me, but I have a very short torso and have this issue with many shoulder straps) and it fits beautifully. I bought the size according to what it says and it fit great. I have lost about 30 lbs since I bought it and it still fits and looks nice since I can cinch it up. I will be able to wear this again! I love the look and fit! Highly recommend this dress!
