NUVO 1500 UV1500A Above Ground Pool Ultraviolet Sanitizing System

i thought UV was just a little bonus, but this has been able to keep my pool completely clean. installation was a little tricky because i have an inground pool, but it has been wonderful. i once unplugged this accidentally and the pool started to get green, but after plugging it back in it cleaned it right up. highly recommended as an alternative to chlorine

I purchased this for swimming pool use, but between daily storms and super sunshine heat, I really can’t tell if it’s doing it’s job— still have to add bunches of chemicals to kill algae

just installed it, finally got the green pool cleared up and cleaned up, time will tell, I hope to never see green water again

This is a 1-year product. Do not expect it to last longer than a year. The ballast no longer works, although it still draws 50w without powering any light. If I didn't know any better, I'd guess this plastic-encased light was made by electric utility to make me pay more. Speaking of plastic: it melts. The entire tube melted and shrunk. It no longer passes the amount of water it should. Stay away unless you want this $400 purchase to be a yearly purchase.

This product was very easy to incorporate into our system! I am amazed at how quickly our pool is cleaeing up! It was green to start.

It works good. it keep the pool clear.
