Small Head
I've owned this amp for about a month now and have gigged with it twice. Originally I paired it with an Avatar 4x10 cab and it sounded ok. Plenty of headroom and decent tone. I recently bought the Burgera 1x15 cab and that made a HUGE difference in tone. Amazing warm tube tone with plenty of volume. The compressor actually sounds great, which I wasn't expecting. I plan on getting a second Bugera cab and using this as my main set-up. It's so tiny that you can just throw it in your backpack if needed but on the downside, it's so light that it gets vibrated off of my cab even at lower volumes so keep that in mind. Also, despite it's slick appearance and solid build, it sorta looks like a toy sitting on top of a stack of cabs...the sound man at my last gig actually laughed when I pulled it out. He wasn't laughing after hearing the tone and volume of this "toy" though! The only other problem is the line out is a bit noisy. I noticed it playing live and then testing it with different cables running it to my board at home, same thing. It's not a big issue in live situations with a loud, noisy band. In the studio however, it really sucks. I've had to mic my cab to avoid this which isn't the best solution for some studio needs.

This is a serious amp
I love this amp it gives me the power and tone that I love for my 5 string bass.

Bass tone is punchy and great, but big volume knob is scratchy sounding
Didn't realize these are designed and built by Behringer, so long-term reliability may be an issue. Bass tone is punchy and great, but big volume knob is scratchy sounding.

Friggin' great!!!
I heard this head at the NAMM show 2016. I was at the Marcobass booth and a bass amp rep brought HIS amp to show how great it was. he A and B'd it against the Veyron. his $2500 amp sounded great but silently i liked the Veyron better so about 7 months later when i researched the veyron and found out how affordable it was i bought it. so far it has been AMAZING. I play bass for a living and my needs vary from gig to gig. the cab set ups I've used are as such Ampeg 2x10 (for smaller venues including upright bas gigs) , Dr BASS 2x10 w/ horn and 1x15 (for Larger venues) and with an Ampeg 8x10 (for full on rock or metal shows) the 3 preamp tubes have a great natural compression to them i barely use the compressor feature. its small enough to fit in my gig bag with my cords and such so i can load in in one trip (depending on cab set up) be careful it is light and WILL rattle off of you cabs when blasting ass i use a folded towel as a buffer to absorb the shock so far so good. I'm considering buying a second one.

A little BEAST!
I’m a profession bass player and have played hundreds of shows across the US and abroad. This tiny little beast looks like a toy and weighs less than a jug of milk, and I vastly prefer it to the rack-mounted monstrosity I used as my touring head previously (an Ampeg SVT4-Pro). It’s got enough power to fill a medium-sized club without needing to rely on the House PA system, it’s practically impossible to dial in a bad setting, and it’s small enough to carry on a plane with me or throw into a suitcase. My custom built signature bass with passive pickups is notoriously quiet, but that doesn’t stop my Bugera from melting faces when I plug into it. Let the gear snobs (few of whom can actually play or have accomplished anything musically) laugh all they want at the ridiculously low price or the diminutive footprint, but this little fella will deliver the goods.

Great amp!
I've been working with an SWR rig for the last 28 years. When my head finally died on me, I did some research and settled on this little head. After 3 months of heavy use, I can honestly say this is one of the best investments I have made in a very long time. I suspected it from day one when I first plugged it in, but now I can say this for sure! Great tone, great control and LOUD!

Quality product!!
Sounds great! Would suggest it for any working bass player. Very powerful and light weight. I have always been a customer of Ampeg products. Bugera has provided a great product. No need for my big bulky Ampeg SVT head anymore. This gets deeper tones and crisper highs in a side by side comparison with my SVT. I'm excited to gig with this and the Bugera 115ts. I did not see many reviews on this product and took a chance. Worth every dollar!

Buy this amp!
I was looking for a good value and bought this based on reviews. It did not disappoint! I have loved the tone, features, power, and everything else about this amp and could not more strongly recommend it! My bandmates that spend a fortune on higher priced brand names (I've been there for years, too) have been very impressed. The easily pushes my 4X10 and 1X15 cabinet stack, with headroom galore!
