An excellent laser level with clear, precise lines for easy alignment. Very useful for both DIY and professional projects. Well worth it!

This is my first laser level and a really good introduction to this handy DIY tool. The self-levelling laser is very handy and you can lock it once levelled. It's single-button operation for turning the laser on and off (long press for 3 seconds). It also switched itself off it was on when self-levelling, then you lock it using the switch. Easy to remedy - just switch it on again! There is also a threaded hole at the base so you can connect this level to any standard camera-type tripod for ease of use. My only minor comments are as follows: The switch for locking the laser once it's self-levelled is a little stiff, so I have concerns that you can knock it slightly off-level. A smaller switch or some sort of softer latching mechanism would have been a little better perhaps. Just check your level with a spirit level the first couple of times to ensure accuracy. You also have to have the laser level unit fairly near the surface you want the level line on, to ensure it's clear enough to use. You also need it placed at a level nearer where you need the line, to ensure the line is true - e.g. you can't prop it on the floor to then give you a line 2m up a wall. Bearing all this in mind and the price for the unit, it's great for everyday household DIY (putting up shelves, measuring levels for picture hanging, etc.) and definitely worth having in your tool case for the price. It even comes with a black protective pouch to keep it safe. Recommended.

Great little device, looks dead true when lined up with a decent spirit level. It made a fast job of getting a TV mount level, line up the holes, mark, drill. You will need something to hold this level at the desired height, if more than 4 degrees off centre the laser flashes to tell you to adjust to get the auto levelling so you can’t just tilt it up or down. I have an old photography tripod and that works great giving it a new lease of life for something useful, the device has standard 1/4 thread as used with photography mounts. For the price of £20, it pretty much paid for itself with the first job, defo a time saver for a job you can do with a spirit, it’s just easier :-)

Absolutely brilliant! I have never had a laser level before, just did it the old fashioned way with a spirit-level, but as I am trying to fit an expensive kitchen in an wonky old house I needed help so I thought I would give it a try. So easy to use and gave precise lines, even when I rotated it on the tripod the line stayed true. Two lines around the kitchen at different heights for wall and base units and they came out perfectly parallel. As a 63-year-old DIY’er this is like finding a magic box, should have had one years ago. I also didn’t expect something at this price range to be realistically reliable, but obviously it doesn’t come with a good Tripod, which I already had and most people would probably have to buy as well. The packaging is nice, brightness was excellent for my average sized kitchen. I don’t know how often I will use it in future, but it’s done the job fast and nice to know I have one to hand.

Laser level works well especially for its price point. However the design of the tripod is inadequate for use as it doesn’t fit the laser level. When you try to adjust it, the tripod catches on the laser device and jolts it. My advice would not buy the bundle with the tripod.

I'm really happy with this laser level; it was exactly what I needed for my DIY projects. The green beams are super bright and way easier to see than the standard red ones, even in well-lit rooms. It's very simple to set up, and having the included tripod makes it so much easier to get everything perfectly straight without any fuss. It feels like a solid, reliable bit of kit that just gets the job done.

I picked this up for interior fit-out work where repeatable accuracy matters more than extended range, and in day-to-day use it behaves as a competent entry-level cross-line laser. In the hand it feels light but not flimsy, with the ABS body and rubberised sections doing enough to protect it from the inevitable knocks around a domestic job. Setup is straightforward: drop in the AA batteries, place it roughly level, and the self-levelling mechanism settles quickly within its tolerance. I used it for aligning wall shelves and picture rails, and the green beam is crisp and easy to track across plastered walls at typical room distances. Performance is solid indoors. The stated accuracy is believable over short runs, and the locked manual mode is genuinely useful when you need a fixed angled reference rather than true level. Battery life is respectable for intermittent DIY use. The main limitation is visibility in strong ambient light, where the beam washes out, making it unsuitable for outdoor work without aids. The lack of included mounting hardware beyond the basic pouch also feels like a cost-saving compromise, though the standard tripod thread mitigates this.

Works really well. Self leveling up to a point. Will flicker if not level to indicate you need to level more.

Professionnel du bâtiment j'avais besoin d'un petit laser pour du carrelage mural, monter des cuisines, des meubles, des radiateurs et autres. La facilité d'emploi et la qualité du laser m'ont épatés comparés à d'autres que j'ai déjà utilisé. Très lumineux en plein jour et sur des murs blanc. C'est certainement un clone d'une autre marque mais il marche impeccablement. le laser vert c'est le top!

Voor €35 is dit een prima groene kruislijnlaser. Als de nauwkeurigheid van ± 0,2 mm/m klopt dan is hij niet alleen heel nauwkeurig, maar is het formaat ook behoorlijk compact in vergelijk tot de iets kleinere Bosch Quigo met een nauwkeurigheid van 'slechts' +/- 0,6 mm/m. Bij deze RockSeed kan de automatische nivellering uit worden gezet (knopje bovenop 3 seconden indrukken als de unit uit is), wat voor mij een belangrijke toevoeging is. Hierdoor kan de laser b.v. gebruikt worden om een lijn te tonen op het plafond t.b.v. montage van gordijnrails. Er zit een handig opbergtasje bij. De kleuren hebben ze volgens mij 'geleend' van Bosch Professional. Maar de kwaliteit van het plastic is wel wat minder dan de Bosch Pro kwaliteit. Dat is de prijs echter ook. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding van deze kruislijnlaser met goed zichtbare groene laserkleur is uitstekend.

Good little laser. Not really what I wanted but is exactly as described.

Recomiendo a todo manitas su compra, por lo que valen te ahorras muchísimo tiempo, rompederos de cabeza y mediciones. Lo único que lamento es no haberlo comprado antes. Es muy fácil de usar y en interiores se mira increíblemente bien, en el exterior no lo e probado. Una recomendación, cuando no lo uses quitale las pilas para evitarte que igual dentro de un tiempo cuando lo necesites de nuevo tengas que tirar con el. RECOMENDADO...Indispensable para un montón de chapuzas y reformas, sin duda lo volvería a comprar.
