Direct Fit to 1984 Bayliner Capri

Good horn, well made, and a bit high priced as all of them are.
You get a good, basic, OEM type of horn here. It is okay, works well, and is easy to use and install. In most cases, it will fit the original mounting of the same type of small OEM horn that was originally on the boat to begin with. I gave it 4 stars because they all cost so much more than they are worth, ha ha! It is a $6 horn that you must pay way more than that to buy. But if you need to replace an old dead one? This will do it with ease. Enjoy

Hot Dang This Thing Will Raise the Dead!
I bought this because my boat horn was anemic. Almost comically so. Sheriff's Deputy laughed when he inspected my boat. Called my horn a snowflake. Hurt my feelings. Easy install. Two screws and two wires. If you can't figure that out you shouldn't own a boat. But Jimminy Christmas does this horn blow! Must hit over 100 dB. Held the horn button down a couple seconds and perch started floating belly up all around me. Caught my limit before I could finish my beer. I think I'll try sneaking up on some fishermen and really blow their hair back. Not the prettiest horn in the world but she'll get 'er done.

Exact replacement but different brand of horn for my boat. Works great. Quite loud. Will update on when / if I find out the longevity of it.

I was very happy, the mount, rubber shim, and look was looking pretty much the same as my 1984/5 Canadian Malibu 16.2 boat exactly. I took the old cover off my old horn, and it clipped onto the new one after connecting new one onto my boat. My old horn was tired and upon opening it up for examination, I found some determination by rust. New one sounds great and I suspect close to what the old one did when it was new. If you into renewing keeping the patina, this could be a good pick . The photo,is new horn with the old cover .

Thought I would come back and do a review after 1 year on the boat. Horn still works but it has completely rusted and has left an ugly rust stain that I now have to clean. Made from the poorest quality stainless chineasuim possible. Don’t buy if you don’t like rust stains on your boat
