I’m not sure as if to use as a shaving balm but I know it’s great for very dry skin, my daughter has eczema and this is what she uses.

I do. My daughter's pediatrician recommended it and Cetaphil cleaning lotion for her baby born 8 weeks early, so it has to be safe and gentle. You might write the company, however. They do have products specifically recommended for the face.
