Sturdy, stable and still pretty light.
It is very good at what it does,doesn't weigh a lot and shows no indication of breaking just yet.I would suggest that would-be buyers ensure it can fit in your door frame before you purchase as it does require space to fit and the door handle lock, from what I've seen, is intended to fit through the gap in the metal part. Provided it fits your door it will lock your door but if it doesn't I might suggest looking elsewhere.

Rock Solid
Didn't fit any doors in our house but that's not what it was bought for. Seems to work very well on US motel doors which always look insecure. Once the lock is in place (easily fitted) the door is rock solid. Impressed with a simple device which is so sturdy.

Didn’t fit the door on holiday
Not used this properly yet, as it didn’t fit the door I bought it for on holiday.However it looks very sturdy

This item isn’t too bad.
This item isn’t too bad however I brought it for staying at a hotel in London (Premier Inn) and it did not fit the latches that they use on their doors.

Don’t recommend at all
No instructions. I had to watch the YouTube video for instructions. It was bit tight to our door and I ended up being locked in the bedroom for almost 2 hours when my hubby was away and my 2 young kids were waiting for their dinner at 7pm in the evening. It was a horrendous experience as I’m claustrophobic and asthmatic. I couldn’t get hold of any locksmith but thankfully two of my neighbours came to my rescue and between them and me we were able to open the door with the tools they passed me from a gap under the door. Do not try this lock if you are on your own.

Safety lock
Saw a video of this on tiktok. I was going away with just my daughter she was a bit scared, with it just bring us. I'm so glad I brought it because our hotel room door didn't lock. This litterally made us feel so safe in our room and so easy to use. It really does work.

Supplier will not respond to messages
Although this looks like a good product, fits well and does its job the supplier refuses to answer my messages.The product is advertised with a carrying pouch but I did not receive one in the box, a minor thing but also a handy item to store the unit.Constant messages have failed to get a response so i will return the item and purchase from another supplier.My advice if you need one, buy somewhere else.
