Holds up to cats, but hard to install
Ok, so first off let me tell you about the product. I have had two cats climb the screen door so far. First time was hours after installation. I was livid. I could see large openings when they climbed it. My first thought was "There goes $40 bucks down the drain." But then, I could watch as the holes slowly came back together. Its kind of like the mesh wires on a tennis racket. You can spread them apart and then they come back together. I'm guessing there is some sort of give in it. I will NEVER buy any other screen again. There are a couple of cons, BUT they will not cause any loss of stars due to the ability to hold up to my little hellions. It was a bear to install. This stuff is thick and stiff. Nothing like installing a regular screen, but now after use.. I see why and am grateful. Hubby and I had to take turns installing it in our sliding door. It is darker than most screens. On a bright day, it is kind of nice as it blocks some light. TL,DR - Held up to two cats climbing it, claw holes 'shrunk' away. VERY hard to install and darker than most screens. Will never buy regular screen again.

Truly Works!
I'd just finished replacing one screen door as my cat Obi-Wan had destroyed the last one which was metal screening. Obi is nine months old, weighs ten pounds, and loves to climb up the screen door in his mad rushes about the house. As soon as I finished, he took a flying leap and clawed his way up, as you can see in the picture below. He hung there for a few seconds before clawing his way down. I rushed to check the newly installed screen fabric, expecting to see tears or at least, distortion in the mess. To my surprise, the meshing was without a blemish, intact. Imagine my surprise! This is the first screen fabric I've found that holds up to my Obi-Wan. I don't know if it will hold up to a heavier cat, but time will tell. I am very happy I spent the money. It will take time to get used to the "black" color, as it does filter out light and looks quite different from the old one.

Easy to install unlike others have stated
So after getting a new 5 month old puppy and 3 weeks later our sliding screen door was trash. I'm hoping this pet screen will do a good job of staying in tact when our puppy slaps his two front paws on it. We're trying to train him to stay off of it so hopefully this will last till we accomplish that. What I like about this screen is it was easy to install. The spline I used was ADFORS spline .125 inches and it fit perfect. If you try to use a spline that is any thicker you might have issues. I think this might be the reason some people have commented that it was hard to install. If you have a good quality spline roller you should not have any issues. It took me about 30 minutes to do the whole door. Don't try to use one of those cheap plastic spline rollers you will be very disappointed especially after it breaks. I also like the way it makes the daylight coming through less bright. This screen is way darker than your typical screen. If that's not your taste then I suggest you look else where. Time will tell how long this pet screen will last and I will update.

Much better than polyester or aluminum
Those are actual scratch marks from my 95 lbs puppy! Very impressive product. If you have a normal size dog, this should work well. Easy to install too! He's clawed it, ran into it and hasn't damaged the screen. He's bent the frame by running into it but the screen holds up well!

Pet and Home Worthy!
The screen is everything the description says. It is durable, you can see through it and it looks great! Due to the thickness, it took longer to install than expected, which is why the 4 stars. Overall, a 5 star screen though. The extra muscle and time were totally worth it. Our cat climbed up it a couple of days ago. No damage. Thank you!!

Durable pet screen
After searching every brick and mortar store for a durable pet screen longer than 84" and not finding anything, I turned to Amazon. This screen is great. Very thick mesh so it helps block the sun. Our German Shepard has scratched at it a few times and it still looks new. Only advice is to buy the thinnist cord you can find. With the mesh being so thick, it took a long time to install because I had to really work to wedge the cord in.

Worth a try to see if it is dog proof
This screen replaces a flimsy typical fiberglass screen that my year and a half old Golden Husky mix managed to scratch through. The quality seems very good and durable. The roll contains enough screen to replace itself four more times considering the screen opening in this door so in my mind this is a value. I recommend using a proper spline tool and thin spline. For my purposes I used .120 width spline. Because the screen is heavier duty than typical fiberglass screen, take your time fitting it and be patient inserting the spline. Once together, it looks fine. Time will tell if Bandit pops it and rips it again. If he does, there will be plenty of leftover screen screen to redo the job.

Absolutely love this screen & would 100% buy it again. As soon as we replaced our old screen with this my cat decided to go test it out (go figures lol) & she was so surprised when her claws didn’t tear it! It’s honestly the best product and I’m very pleased with it. 10/10
