It works. It was pretty easy to install.
I bought this thermostat to replace a 20 year old Robertshaw Model 9600 thermostat. It was a pretty easy replacement.The new thermostat included a sheet of labels, to put on the thermostat wires, for identification. That was very convenient.To start, I took a bunch of photos of my old thermostat's wiring, for reference. Then before disconnecting the wires from the old thermostat, I put the labels on the wires. Once all the wires were disconnected, I removed the old thermostat. I decided to clip off the exposed ends of the wires, and strip a new segment, to get a fresh connection point. I was able to slide the labels down the wire a little further, which saved me the trouble of cutting off the labels and making new labels. It went pretty smoothly. I had a little difficulty getting a good connection on the R wire, because of the presence of the jumper wire from the R pin to the Rc pin. I took me a couple of tries to get the two wires positioned, in the R pin receptacle, so that they would both be held tight by the screw.

A nice thermostat thats just that. No annoying apps, no stupid timers.. Just buttons and a large screen and all the info and settings you need!

Geat Thermostat for the technically challenged.
This is the easiest thermostat I have ever used. It has an up and a down arrow, and that is it. When either arrow is pressed, the screen lights up and tells you the current temperature, and as you press the arrow, it tells you where you have set it.
