Smashbox SPF 30 Camera Ready CC Cream Broad Spectrum Dark Spot Correcting, Medium, 1 Fluid Ounce

I've tried at least 10 different BB cream brands (literally) and keep coming back to Smashbox. While everyone's skin is different (mine is oily), for me this is the only brand that truly feels weightless, and unlike *everything* else (including many different acne medications and moisturizers) the Smashbox BB actually cleared my skin. Kind of shocking. So of course when the CCs started coming out I turned to Smashbox, and it has indeed provided equivalent skin-clarity benefits while *somewhat* fading freckles and sun damage. (Don't expect miracles.) I wish I could give this five stars because Smashbox is soooooo far superior to any competitor and is better for my skin than acne products(!) -- however, next summer I'll be going back to the BB (Smashbox, please keep making it!) because the CC doesn't seem to "set" nearly as well. If you sweat the CC will bead and run, which was not my experience with the impervious-to-everything-never-needed-freshening Smashbox BB the previous summer. (Also, am curious why the CC has a slightly lower [30 vs. 35] SPF than the Smashbox BB cream since they have identical sun-protection ingredients in the exact same ratios).

This CC cream is a dream, if only it acted like a CC cream. It has SPF 30, which is fantastic and goes on matte. With someone who has suffered her whole life from acne and skin sensitivity, this does NOT cause me to break out or become an oil slick, nor does it irritate my skin. It does a great job with coverage being that it goes on with medium coverage. However, it is a bit on the dry side and does require moisturizer applied underneath. The moisturizer has to be compatible with the formula and applied as a thin layer or else it beads up and off your face. Ew. Does not do a thing for discoloration.

Love this product and it has become a staple in my everyday beauty regimen. I have oily/acne prone skin and I was looking for a lightweight CC Cream that did not leave my skin feeling oily or greasy at the end of the day. This CC cream gives my skin a glow and is not greasy at all. It doesn't break me out either. I'm really sad Smashbox has discontinued this CC cream. I use it as foundation when I want light coverage or with foundation when I need extra coverage. So I was glad to find it on Amazon. However, this product was sold as "new", but the tamper proof or freshness seal was not on the tube. Very disappointing.

I honestly love this product. Yes, it's not the cheapest. But this proves you get what you pay for. It's one of the only light weight concealers that I can put on quickly after a shower and go to work. I don't have to do layers of makeup to hide any blemishes or, my worst feature... Dark spots/scaring from previous picked at pimples. Yuck. The cream leaves my face feeling fresh, not dry, not oily. It's pretty amazing and absolutely worth a try if you've never used before. I've also notices my skin seems clearer when I use this product vs. other ones. :)

I've been using this CC cream for a couple of years now, and everyone I recommend it to always loves it. I don't like heavy foundations, so this was perfect, and it also gives SPF protection. It's not too thick, so it applies thin enough to where I'm not looking like a "cake face." It's also buildable, so once it dries, you can just apply a little more in areas that need more coverage, and you're good to go.

I wanted a lightweight coverage for the summer and feel like this is a little too heavy for a cc cream. It does give me a nice glow after wearing for a few hours but I dont know if it is the summer heat or the product but at the end of the day I start breaking out after wearing. But then when I switch to my tarte full coverage foundation my skin never break outs in the summer. I will give it a few more times and see what happens.

Love this product, bought before from shop. Same price, but packaged well and saved a trip to town! Would highly recommend this cream- I use as foundation every day- fab!!

Really pleased with this, it makes my skin look very good. It could be worn alone, but I got best results with a drop of foundation on the top. Perfect for anyone with an uneven skin tone. I love it!
