A little vintage for every day; not only these Huckaback towels can be perfect addition to any well-appointed bath, but linen has also the ability to absorb moisture better than cotton and will dry more quickly. With a sensual touch and soft absorbency this will last for years. High absorbency - linen is able to absorb a phenomenal amount of water for its weight. So a linen towel will get you drier, quicker. This is great if your kids come shivering out of the pool and need to get dry quickly. Linen is also beneficial for people with sensitive skin as you don't need to rub as much as with other fabrics. Fast drying - not only will a linen towel absorb more water than a cotton terry towel, it will shed it faster too. which means that you can say goodbye to soggy morning-after towels, and instead pack up your freshly dried linen towel. Great for holidays, when you are in and out of the water, or showering and heading out for an adventure.at LinenMe we are committed to being as sustainable as possible in the production of our linen home textiles. Linen itself is a great material thanks to its durability (meaning less Discarded items), the fact that fewer resources are needed to grow and process flax, and its biodegradability.

Linen Towels: Great Fabric but with Tradeoffs
Linen towels. They have a mystique--they are also controversial.I have had mine for six weeks and have used daily. To date, I have washed it once. Shocking Disgusting No, that's linen. So true linen is made out of flax, not cotton. It is an ancient fibre that was abandoned for softer cotton once the cotton gin became widespread. So what are the benefits of linen?Well, I have already hit on one. First, linen is naturally antibacterial. You simply don't have to wash them as frequently as cotton. There's no musty smell.Second, linen towels are quick drying. This is related to the negative (below), so keep reading. But in my home with HVAC (heading and air conditioning), the towel dries 100% overnight on the towel rod.Third, linen towels are quite absorbent. They slurp up water like a paper towel.Fourth, they look charming.Okay, the negatives, and they are not inconsequential:Linen towels are NOT COZY. They are super thin, which allows them to dry quickly (above). But they are so thin that they release 100% of your body heat. You do not get that warm cozy feeling when you wrap yourself in one. In fact, I feel a bit more chilled because I can feel the dampness.Linen is not as soft as cotton, either. It isn't scratchy per se, just not as soft as cotton. So who might linen towels be particularly good for?A beach house (warm) with lots of people. The towels can go longer between washings.A house without a (reliable) dryer. These are towels that you can wash, wring out, and hang on the clothesline for the sun and wind to do their magic.A packable towel for travel, camping, etc.Not so good for:People in colder homes. You will get a lot of complaints. Test one towel before you order a sizable quantity.

Make the move to linen ...
I bought this bath towel for the first time back in 2016. I wanted to try it out before purchasing more as they are so expensive but honestly, so worth it in my view. I love how absorbent they are and the fact that I don't need to launder them frequently is also a huge bonus. The linen will soften over time and I also find it helps exfoliate your skin as you dry off. I buy two at a time and have been adding to my collection over time.LOVE LinenMe as the quality is fantastic. The towel itself will seem thin to those who are use to cotton towels. I still have cotton towels (only 4 now) as I have a lot of guests visiting and not everyone likes the feel of linen.

It's alright
I prefer it over most cotton towels. But for $45, I was hoping for a bit more. It has softened a bit over time after multiple washes, but not as much as some of the other reviews led me out to believe. It's a bit hard to wrap around my waist too. It's so thin that the knot/fold I make on my waist gets undone by itself and the towel just slides off.

These are a must!
These towels are fantastic. If you haven't tried a linen bath towel these are the ones. They are huge but take up less space than a cotton towel. They are absorbent and they come out of the dryer looking great.

Nice and a bit rough
Fairly rough but very absorbent. It exfoliates while it dries and it dries out quicker than cotton.
