Laces really lock down and keep the boot tight. I’m using these on a “wizard” style inline skate (rollerblade) and they are better than any laces I’ve found. Plus they come in solid colors unlike the speckled hockey style waxed laces. I love these

I bought these for my Doc Marten boots. They take the 83" Dr Marten laces which are hard to find around here if you don't live near one of their stores. Our local chain sports store doesn't stock this length, a few of the shoe stores do have this length but they're the thin, round laces and not sturdy enough to pull tight, and the one outdoor store nearby that does sell them has limited styles and stock.When these popped up on my Amazon search I started reading the reviews from buyers that are hardcore using and abusing these laces (as they're meant to be used and abused) and are very happy with the quality. Was more than happy to try them at this price and with Prime shipping. I ordered two basic black sets for now to use in both pair of my Docs (Triump 1914s and Aimilitas.) Love that there are so many color options and I know they'll last.

These laces are really well made and beautiful. I got the 108 inch laces and they are perfect. They have enough length to fully lace up and wrap them around if you wanted. They even came with a little sticker which is always nice :) . For the price you cant get anything better than this! If you are thinking about getting them, DO IT!

Just received mine and laced up a skate. A few things to note. One, there are 2 laces. I wasn't sure and couldn't tell, so I got one and hoped there were two included, which there were. I only needed one at the moment. Two, the quality seems pretty good and looks a lot like my current ones so I hope they were the same because my current ones lasted a very long time. Three, I should have checked with the length a bit, because these would have been ideal at more like 88 inches. They just barely fit tied completely up, and decent for once pulled tight, but I think I will have to bring them through one set of holes each time before getting my foot in the boot. I generally have to loosen up quite a bit to get my foot in, and doing so the laces get right up to the last holes. These will work, but a tad longer would have been better. My last ones were nice longer because when they broke I just tied a knot and continued using them.

I’ve used these laces for several months and waited to wait before reviewing them to avoid misleading anyone considering this item. I’ve been a first responder for almost 40 years and purchased these laces for brand new tactical boots. I wish I’d found these laces years ago. The laces are heavy duty. Once tied they stay tied. I’ve used all kinds of laces and these are by far the best. Great price. Fast shipping. Highly recommend.
