04383 Filter Replacement Compatible with Hamilton Beach 04383, 04384, 04385 Air Purifier, 1 True HEPA Filter & 4 Carbon Filters, Part# 990051000

I have the 04386 model, and these are a perfect fit. It's a massive upgrade over the stock filters. So what's the hidden reason these are so good? Velcro. The HEPA filter has small velcro tabs on each side (see pic) that hold the pre-filter in place. When I needed to dispose of the old pre-filter, I just took the whole thing to the trash, ripped off the old pre-filter, and stuck the new one on—no dust in the house. It may not seem like much, but it's such a helpful feature. I'm so happy with this purchase. Side note: The dirty filter is after 45 days. Yuck! I keep this in my home office, and I have a Lab and a Shepherd that like to hang out for the day. This helps with all of the pet hair and dander.

While it's hard for me to vouch for the odor elimination (maybe I'm not making the right kind of stink for it? Doesn't seem to de-smell the air especially quickly) this kit definitely cleans the air well enough, as you can see obviously when you go to replace the carbon filter. It's just as easy if not easier to install than the default filter for the device. Highly recommended.

I purchased these for my Hamilton Beach TrueAir Air Purifier. The cost for two HEPA filters and eight carbon filters was less than buying one replacement filter from Hamilton (which by the way, Hamilton claims doesn't have to be replaced and it absolutely does). I figured, what do I have to lose? Something to note: the original filter did not come with a carbon filter to add in front of the HEPA filter. This is something I've never added until purchasing this filter set. Let me tell you, I sure have been missing out! First of all, the sound decrease alone was worth buying these. This purifier used to make a "humming" sound and has since the first day I purchased it. Since I added this filter with the carbon in front, it's so quiet I forget it's on. Secondly, what a difference in air quality! My allergies are doing leaps and bounds better with this filter setup. I've also noticed it's filtering "smells" now, which it never did before. My only regret is that I didn't purchase these sooner. Best off label purchase I've ever made!

Better than original and other aftermarkets imo. I really like this unique design, it comes with a special HEPA filter with a strangely unique fiber design with 4 extra carbon pre-filters for each primary HEPA filter in the 2-pack, one which is glued onto each HEPA, and, are thin enough that you can stack another into the unit if you'd like for extra filtration and preservation of the main HEPA filter, but I chose to keep just the first one for the time being for better airflow. This is the best deal imo, considering the design compared to the others. I recommend this one for filter replacements of the stated compatible models, especially considering the price and unique innovation. Update 08/25/21: Quality of filters seem to have diminished. The primary HEPA filter used to have a more solid carbon coating and color tone, now it looks closer to a standard HEPA filter and appears to made with cheaper, softer fibers with less carbon coating. It still seems like a good product, considering the price compared to others, but I used to like this product a lot more several months ago, so I knocked off a star. If quality varies by lot and they do not all look like this onward, then I will reconsider my overall rating.

These filters are as effective as the brand name filters but at a fraction of the cost. I've used these for over two years and haven't had any issues with my air purifier as a result. The fit and size is perfect for my machine. The filters do need to be changed as needed, but they're easy to install. They are true heppa filters at a good price.

Absolutely love these filters. We keep ours running in the house 24/7 and as you can see in the picture it really does get all that gunk out of the air!

I was looking for some carbon-filters for my purifier and this was perfect. The price is extremely good considering you get two filters and a ton of carbon-sheets. The carbon has been working decently for helping with stinky dogs. Overall I'm really happy with them. I would order them again if I needed to but I really doubt that I'll need to for a couple years.
