Perfect for meetings, the microphone works, the speaker when connected to a computer is loud and clear enough for a large room.Used professionally the first time this weekend and it performed flawlessly.

Great Portable PA, Perfect for Backyard Events
This is perfect for backyard events. Good sound, lightweight, easily ported. easy to carry around from spot to spot. It has line-in and Bluetooth input. The microphone is more than adequate. The battery lasts a long time between charges or you can plug it into an AC outlet. I liked it so much, I bought a second one. Great buy!

Works - pros and cons
Pros: Works fine enough for a small room, maybe if you're entertaining like 20-30 people.bluetooth and included mic connect no problem. Good audio solution for my trivia nights if I want to make it easy for someone to fill in.Cons: Sound quality leaves a lot to be desired, it's got a lot of highs but nothing in the low end.Mic feels cheap and cuts out a lot if you're more than 5-6 feet from the speaker.

Great System!
This is a great system! Love that it can be used without having to plug in. Great to take outdoors when electricity is available.

Fit the need for an outdoor wedding
I got one of these speaker units along with a nice stand to use at our son's wedding. The wedding was outdoors on a horse ranch, with 50+ guests. We used it for both the ceremony using the included microphone and a mic-stand (not included), and to play music during the reception dinner and dancing.Sound quality was good, nice and clear with no distortion even when played fairly loud. The microphone worked as expected, and the mic-speaker combo was nice and clear sounding. The battery lasted better than expected, but we did use an extension cord later in the event just to be certain we didn't lose power. The unit worked well when plugged into 110v a/c power. One thing to be aware of: The unit appears to be equipped with the original BlueTooth system, and would not pair with current-generation devices using the latest generation BlueTooth software. The speaker does have an audio-input jack, and worked fine with both a Microsoft driven laptop and Apple IOS devices using an audio cable.Very pleased with how this unit worked out. Buying cost only a few more dollars than renting a system from the caterers for a day, and we will get a lot more use out of it. Highly recommend.

I Like Pyle, but this unit is not up to par
I purchased this unit in December of 2019, as I needed to give a Christmas address to my company and we were having a comedian come in for entertainment following a dinner. This system made it through my 30 minute speech, but 15 minutes into the comedians act, the speaker started producing a noise not unlike someone dragging a large utility table across a hard floor. It wasn't distorting what was coming from the microphone, it was simply adding in this horrible noise. The noise started faint and far apart, but in a relatively short amount of time it grew in frequency and volume until it was simply unusable. I wasn't sure what was wrong with it, but packed it away until needing it again this year. Prior to the day I would be using it I set it up and tried it out and it seemed to work fine and I thought that perhaps what happened the year before was just a fluke. The day came when I was going to use it and approx. 5 minutes into my speech I began to hear what sounded like someone dragging a large utility table across a hard floor and it continued to get louder. In no time at all I once again had to turn off this unit. The microphone that comes with this unit is absolute trash. I tried it out after first getting it and with turning the speaker to maximum volume the microphone could barely be heard above my own speaking voice, which defeated the entire purpose of purchasing this unit. I found a microphone that would hook into the microphone jack and using this microphone was much better. When the unit failed me this year, someone mentioned that perhaps it was a microphone issue. Just to test this out I purchased a good quality Pyle microphone, not a Blue Tooth, but one that plugged into the microphone jack. After receiving the new microphone I tried the unit again, but in no time it began making that annoying noise, which renders the unit unusable. At this point I contacted Pyle support to see if there was possibly something that I was doing wrong or if there was anything that they could think of that i could try. It took them nearly a week to respond to my email and when they did they wouldn't discuss the issue with me until I sent them some sort of a proof of purchase. I sent them my invoice of sale from my Amazon account. Since I purchased the unit last December they misread it and said that since it was under 30 days I needed to take the issue up with Amazon and not them. I asked them to examine the invoice once more as the date was December of 2019. I just heard back from them and they basically told me I was S.O.L. I wasn't exactly demanding my money back I was just asking for advise. So in the end I am left with a unit that was just what I was looking for, with the exception that the speaker makes this horrible noise, making it a total waste of money. Since I am not sure what the problem is, I am a little gun shy about purchasing another one for next year. I will have to look for a different make or model or both. This one was a huge disappointment.

there's a reason for the low price
We needed a light, portable, affordable, sound system that comes with a microphone, easy Bluetooth connection, that can fill a large hall with a crowd of people and enough volume for our team to hear the music and announcement. This system works ok. There's not enough base for our preference because the speaker is not 1,000 watt output. That's either a misprint or refers to something else. Compared to my JBL portable speaker, this sounds very "thin". Even after adjusting the sound through my Bluetooth device to boost the base, it's still thin and we're afraid to turn it all the way up that it might break the speakers. BUT you get what you pay for. You can definitely hear the music from 30 feet away, mostly the treble, not a lot of base, and it's not loud enough for a crowd outdoors. In an enclosed space it's a lot better. If you want something loud enough with heavier base, go for their Pro models that cost a little more. For what we need and having a zero budget, this is ok. We really can't complain.
