Fantastic product, easy to install up, connect to hub, good quality - even the sound. Although I have benefited from a discounted purchase price the system plus the separate features were still expensive. One of the issue is battery life especially if camera monitors a busy area. For the one that is installed in front of our house we bought a charging cable that is connected permanently so we can can plug it in the socket when low battery or gone on a holiday. We thought it was better than to get the camera off or use a ladder to connect the cable charger. We leave our external light on during night time for a decent vision. Probably a Floodlight Arlo Camera would provide a better vision especially if no external light. However looks better than other wired CCTV systems and some of other Arlo cameras' battery last longer. We have installed another camera near one of our house window so when low battery we open it up and get the charging cable through that can be easily be connected to the camera. It doesn't take long to get it fully charged.

The cameras itself are excellent, but the software and marketing are truly a disaster. First of all, it’s almost impossible to use cameras without subscription and absolutely impossible to use it without internet. Wanna use it in your summer forest house? Forget it. Even if you install a USB drive for storing records locally, it’s impossible to get access to it without an internet connection on your phone. A live video is also streamed through their cloud, so if you have just a 30-60 seconds lag, you are lucky. Watching stored records is possible only in their application (or on a site), and the player is totally useless. Even such a simple thing as a swipe to the next video can move you randomly to the next or previous video, or if a new one was added while you are watching records, you would be redirected to a random video in a folder. Notifications. There are no such things. It can send a push when a movement is detected, but it is impossible to filter pushes even by a schedule. However, it’s possible to switch on/off cameras by a schedule, but if you want to record everything during the day and receive notifications only during the night time… it’s too complicated for cameras for £700. Some of the problems can be solved with third-party solutions like Home Assistant which are used API of the Arlo site, but it will not be more possible after September, because they decided to forcibly add 2FA to the site that makes impossible to use the API. They know about that problem, they heard the community, but they simply don’t care at all.

These are a good mid range camera. They have great video quality and the microphone is very sensitive If you are upgrading from Arlo or Arlo pro these are worth it but from Arlo Pro 2 you are just paying extra for the Spotlight and slight increase in video quality. At 2k the video is very clear, there is a wide angle lens option so you can see more. Can’t fault them for their night vision and colour night vision (using the spotlight) it is also very clear. The sensitivity has been improved over the older model which is great, sometimes a little too sensitive but this can be tweaked. As with all Arlo cameras, they are very easy to install. You get one magnetic mount and one screw mount, it’s a shame you didn’t get two of each. These will work with any existing screw mount you may have. These are wireless cameras but I suggest you get the charge wire so that you don’t have to compromise on any settings.

The cameras are easy to set up and install. Works with Apple HomeKit seamlessly. The settings are simple to understand and offer a range of camera options. Night vision is amazing, tracking is spot on and image quality is fantastic. The only negative is battery life, mine ran down in 3 weeks not 6 months as described in the product info. If you can access the cameras easily and recharge them they are a very good product.

When I got these cameras, I was sceptical about the Wifi coverage. In my experience Wifi coverage is way overstated on all products and when there are walls it's just must worse. So as the base unit was going to be some reasonable distance from the cameras 20m and I have a thick brick wall in the way, was expecting to need a wifi extender to get reliable coverage. So far, I have been wrong ! The connections on two cameras just worked and have worked now for over a week (when they were fitted) flawlessly. Night quality is nowhere near day quality, but it still does the job. Software setup was simple. Only issue I have is I am surprised about an external hard disc ? When I saw the base module (which weighs nothing and looks the size of a 5.25 hard drive), I thought OK, buy drive from Amazon and fit it in there. Not so, hard drive has to be external and connected by USB. This make the footprint of the base module, so much uglier and I just don't understand why ? I also have no idea so far of what's stored on the web and what's stored on the hard drive ?

Inicialmente compré unas Eufy, porque en teoría eran muy similares…y más baratas…pero solo en teoría,porque aquellas de fabricación China del grupo Anker, tienen muchos fallos, y la gente soporte no los sabe solucionar. Las devolví ( y la gente de Eufy me las regalaron para que les ayudara a solucionar los problemas), pero de momento ahí están. En estas del grupo NETGEAR, es al revés, ni un solo problema, y el soporte es muy bueno. Eso si cuestan justo el doble. Pero funcionan muy bien, especialmente el tema del geovallado. En estas el único problema es que están totalmente pensadas para que pagues los servicios en la nube que te ofrecen, tanto a nivel de grabación en local (no es fácil de hacer), como de detección de paquetes o por zonas (necesitas los servicios de la nube si o si). Por lo tanto, les doy 4 estrellas. Otro problema que tienen es que el tema de la grabación de video es relativamente fácil de hacer, si pagas la nube por suscripción personal. El tema de hacerlo en local, es posible, yo lo tengo, pero has de tener ciertos conocimientos con el tema de los puertos, routers, etc. Rectifico un poco mi opinion. Desde hace tiempo estoy teniendo problemas con el tema del Geofencing. Ha dejado de funcionar. El soporte de Arlo es muy malo. Parece que la app es capaz de enviar una traza del estado del sistema. Pero no me funciona. Y el soporte Europeo/Español es muy malo. Les he bajado una estrella (ahora 3) Al final, funcionó el geovallado, pero no gracias a su soporte desde luego

4 caméras reçues, bonne qualité. mais une des 3 se déchargent en moins de 3 jours même en économie de batterie alors que les autres restent à 100%!

Ottimo prodotto e ottima l’assistenza telefonica (anche se non molto chiara su come trovare il numero) il problema su cui penso devono lavorarci su è il servizio di prova gratuita che dopo si trasforma in abbonamento troppo costoso a mio parere; mi è servito molto tempo per capire come non fare l’abbonamento sulle registrazioni in cloud ,ed optare su una base station,che non è assolutamente la stessa cosa! infatti ,spiego a tutti, se acquistate una base station ricordate che: punto 1 , scaricate tutti i filmati che vengono salvati come notifiche (quindi tantissimi a seconda dove piazzate le camere) su una chiavetta, ragion per cui dovete sostituirla spesso; punto 2 , i filmati potete visionarli ,per esempio se avete la app sul telefono, soltanto se siete a casa collegati con la stessa wi-fi a cui è collegata la base station ed infine ,una volta finito il periodo di prova, misteriosamente le camere cambiano il modo di inquadratura e quindi dovete ricentrarle tutte quante ,sempre che non vogliate impazzire con le notifiche

طلبتها ووصلني النسخة الاجدد رقم 3? لكن بدون راوتر بعدين اكتشفت ان التخزين السحابي ما يشتغل بالسعودية بشوف لو اشتري راوتر بتتسجل مقاطع الفديو والا نفس المشكلة
