Great quality.
Unfortunately the first one I ordered came damaged and had to be sent back due to rough handling when shipped. But when I finally got it home it went on nicely. Great quality with an even better price.

Can't beat the Denso brand
After 230k miles on the Honda CRV. The alternator finally gave out and stop recharging. As many of you know, anything OEM from Honda is crazy expensive. But after researching and looking around. I found out there are a lot of Denso made parts on the car. Though the alternator has lost it's decals on the body itself, so I wasn't sure if it's even a factory alternator. But anyways, these one is rebuilt from Denso itself.I'm not sure that was replaced on this alternator but this unit is literally brand new looking and has all the decals with the part number for the vehicle. It spins smoothly with very little resistance. Installation wasn't that easy. It took me a good 2 hours to replace the dead unit. I took several photos of what I did and no, you do not have to remove the radiator to remove the alternator. Just have to remove the two radiator top mount and push it forward to give you more room. This got nothing to do with the build quality. Again, this unit appears brand spanking new and all the connectors even look new. The only issues I have is the lead from the alternator to the battery. They don't include the 10mm nut to secure down the post. So you have to reuse the one that came off the dead alternator. So about 2 hours later, removed the dead unit out and replaced it with this one. Started the vehicle and no more battery light on the dash and took her for a test drive. Every is all good and in fact the car idle has return to normal especially with the A/C turned on.

Nice price, seems to be of good quality after a few months.
We installed this a few months ago and it’s still going strong. Ps this does fit a 2003 accord lx (4 cylinder) and the install was dead simple.

Works
By the looks of it, these alternators just have a high fail rate. The one I got from Auto Zone was bad out the box, and they couldn't get me a replacement one any sooner than Amazon. This is OEM, so I figured the probability of it working was a bit higher. It's been in now a week and still working.I put it in a 2007 Honda CR-V EX body style.

Bad Alternator and NO SUPPORT
I ordered this alternator for my wife's 2007 Honda CR-V. Everything was installed according to specifications, including a new OEM belt. The engine ran fine but the battery light remained lit. I went through all troubleshooting steps and ended up at the Honda dealership. They ran diagnostics and found the alternator was not producing the correct voltage (13.7 verses 14.2). So the new DENSO alternator was the problem. I went to the Amazo website and was directed to the service button which takes you to the DENSO website. I sent the requisite email three times with not so much as a reply. I can't return the alternator now so I am out the $200.00 plus paid for the part. I thought DENSO was a good company but I guess their support for individual customers is non-existent. Buyer beware.
