Worked great on our carnival cruise!!! Exactly what we needed!

This is a must have on a cruise ship! The room had just one regular outlet with no USB ports. This let us expand to more pore, usb, and use all our devices.

I originally purchased one of these units for the guest bedroom in my home. I was becoming tired of my guests always unpluging lamps, WiFi extenders and other electronics and then failing to plug them back in before their departure. This worked out wonderfully. It allowed my guests to now charge their phones, Airpods, tablets, watches and any other mobile electronic devices they brought with them. My guests loved it so much that my wife insisted I purchase one for her nightstand--so I did. She loves it because it is a quick connect for all of her devices especially after a long day when you do not want to engage in hunger games for which devices get charged first. And like our guest room, this device allows her to charge all her electronic devices at once. If you have an AirBnB property I would highly suggest a few of these for each bedroom. They are affordable, easy to install, safe and they do not take up a lot of space on a nightstand or coffee table.

I am confident that the Mifaso power strip is safe to use while sailing. But --- just because a plug-in device is designed to be completely safe for use on a cruise ship, that does not mean that it will pass inspection at boarding. Ship power sockets are wired differently than home outlets, with hot power divided equally between two blades. It makes electrocution far less likely. If a surge device is included in the power strip, it would quite likely generate a great deal of smoke and a horrible stench. They just cannot run the risk. Unless the cruise line has some type of testing circuit (unlikely) then the power strip will be confiscated and returned at the end of the voyage. This is true for ANY power strip sold. Perhaps someday there will be some sort of nautical certification, but for now, the only power items that will likely pass are single or dual USB chargers with two mains plug blades. That is why I use the Mifaso on Amtrak railway trips. It is small and ideal for use in the tiny roomettes. It is also handy in hotel rooms for powering computers and phones. Recommended for most compact power needs but unfortunately not cruise ships.

Affordable, with a resistant cable and compact. The 2 USB-A and 2 USB-C plus the 3 power outlets serve my purpose. I would buy it again if I needed a similar product.

This is a great product. It would be perfect if it had an off switch.
