Okay . i'm still giving it 5 stars . i have 3 books on the hippo by eric briffoz . there are so many typos in all 3 books books that it just starts to get so funny that i just laugh it off . But the books are full of great info on the hippo that you need to know . and the typos that are easy to figure out only makes the book i little more entertaining . i have played hundreds of hippo games which i learned how to play a few years ago from the books "the hippo rises" and mainly from the 27 pages on the hippo from "tiger's modern". This book has shown me so much more about the hypo , and as white also . Eric's enthusiasm for this opening shines thru the whole book . it's very easy reading from cover to cover !

the book is presented in the form of perfectly and exhaustively anotated games.Unfortunately, ther's no download of the anotated games in the form of ChessBase database.
