They are easy to fit in your floor vents
And they freely pass air through. I recently installed a metal electrostatic air filter for my HVAC air system and it's cut my filter costs immensely. To further insure I'm getting good filtered air from my air system which is fading and not so clean nowadays, I'm installing these vent filters. Not only do they filter mold spores in the vent system, but keep junk and debris from falling down through the vents. I bought two of these packs to ensure a supply for many years. Try them yourself, the price is great.

No way to install for floor vents.
We are surrounded by dirt so I wanted these because we were constantly stuffed up and I thought that they would help. I thought they would just go straight into the vent but there's no way to install them. We have floor vents so that may be the problem. I was disappointed because I was really needing them to work out for us.
