Tough sockets, good quality, great value.
These extractors were positively reviewed on "Project Farm". I decided to give them a chance. These are the only socket extractors I have tried. I live in Michigan, prime salt and rust country. I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 4.7L engine. Both exhaust manifolds were leaking. Each manifold is attached with 4 M8X1.25 studs (13mm head), and 5 M8X1.25 bolts (10mm head). This translates to 18 bolts I need to remove (plus the four nuts holding the exhaust shield to the passenger manifold). The bolts and studs have thread locker on them. I was able to remove all of the 13mm studs without standard tools (8 of 18 problems solved). The stupid 10mm bolts were another story. [MOPAR: PUT A DECENT HEAD ON THESE BOLTS YOU LOUSY @#$@#$^#@$!%@]. Two of the 10mm bolts were broken; the reason for the exhaust leakage. Of the remaining 8 10mm bolts, I was able to remove three with standard tools (11 of 18 problems solved, 2 remaining severe problems). This left me with 5 bolts, four of which had severely damaged heads. With this tool set I was able to remove three of the four damaged bolts quite easily. I tapped the sockets on to the bolt heads, tapped the wrench with a brass hammer, and frequently smacked the extractor sockets back on the bolts heads This worked great. In minutes the bolts came free. The socket extractors gripped the damaged bolts famously (14 problems solved, 2 severe problems). The extractors gripped the fourth bolt as easily as the first three, and SNAPPED the bolt head (14 problems solved, 3 severe problems). The last bolt is the only issue I have with this set. The last bolt head is too small for the 3/8" to grab, but too big for the 8mm. Try as I may, I can't drive the 8mm into the head of the last bolt. The 3/8" spins freely. If this set had a 9mm, I think these extractors would make easy work of it. I drove all of the extractors onto the bolt heads with brass hammers and a large steel drift. I beat the crap out of them. After all the pounding and torque, the sockets look great! I really like this set. I wish they had a 9mm socket, so I didn't have to break out the welder. I guess the welder is coming out for some of the broken bolts anyway, so it's no a big deal. I highly recommend this set. You will not be sorry (unless you need a 9mm)!

Works Perfectly – Love This Tool!
The Amartisan Impact Bolt Extractor Tool Set (13PC) worked exactly as promised. It easily removed stubborn bolts and nuts without slipping or rounding them off. Sturdy, well-made, and a total lifesaver for tough jobs. Highly recommend if you need reliable bolt extractors!

Definitely worth the price.
While my rocket sock broke, I ordered this set to be here the next day. It took the beating of my air hammer and allowed me to remove all 8 rusted stuck bolts.

They really work!
I don’t usually do reviews but this really worked. See pictures. Lug bolt was over tightened and rounded. This saved me a trip to the shop.

Amazing tool, removed a partially stripped nut with ease!
I'm writing almost immediately after successfully using this tool to remove a 12mm nut in a very cramped space in my '02 Civic. It is the first nut or bolt I have to remove in order to replace my alternator and the alternator and power steering belts, but the space is super cramped and my car has 20+ years of rust on it and not surprisingly it started to strip when I used the traditional tools: a 12mm wrench and a 12mm socket wrench. The socket wrench would just continue to turn and I knew it was only further stripping the nut and I almost gave up (and was possibly going to send my car to the junkyard) when I decided to give this product a try based on the good reviews. I tried a similar looking product last year from a different company to try to remove a stripped screw in my kitchen but that didn't work at all so I had low hopes. Lo and behold, the partially stripped and rusted nut that had never been removed in my 23 years of owning this car started to turn right away and in seconds was off without any damage to the bolt it was screwed on. The nut itself is stuck to the 12mm removal socket and may be difficult to remove but I was so impressed by this that I wanted to leave a review right away. Now, YMMV (your mileage may vary) depending on the situation and condition of your bolt or nut that needs removing, but there's at least a decent chance it will work for you as it did for me. Recommend everyone put this in his toolbox. Only thing I should mention is that if your space is really cramped, it may not work for you if you physically can't fit it on the nut/bolt, and you may need a low profile attachment to attach to this removal socket. I used the arm/wrench of a serpentine belt removal tool and just barely fit.

So close. Not quite to spec for power tools.
Found this in Project Farm who by far has the best reviews for tools I've ever seen on the internet. It's an impact extractor that doesn't fit an impact tool. That doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Otherwise, it's durable and can probably get the job done with regular hand tools. I used one of these with a regular socket wrench and it wound up shredding the bolt. My impact fits tekton impact sockets just fine, but this one falls right off. Might be a QC issue. tldr; Pros: Extremely durable, wound up shredding old bolts Affordable Carrying case Cons: Does not actually fit the connectors for power tools. (See video) Carrying case was covered in oil from parts lube. Too much exists. Carrying case isn't well marked for right side up, nor do the extractors nestle in their spot. Case is yellow. I dislike yellow but at least you can see the bolts in there.

So glad I bought this. Saved me a bunch of time extracting some rusted nuts and bolts already when I was working on my car. Used the impact too, and it worked !!! You know the frustration of cutting wheels and drama...

Really are "Very Impressive" (as Project Farm said in his review) ... managed to remove the header pipe bolts on my 1982 BMW K100 Motorcycle with relative ease, some required a couple of attempts with smaller sizes but the sockets held up well and had no signs of damage. Thank you!! ps Amazon UK purchase from US Amazon supplier received in about a week with no nasty surprises
