Highly recommend. Great product, great price.
Works perfectly and is easy to setup. I have a very old house with thick brick walls. Our router is upstairs and the wifi downstairs has always been weak and spotty, which means our Ring cameras and doorbells don't always work. Since setting this up there's been absolutely no drop in wifi anywhere in the house, or outside! Can still stream in the garden because of where I placed it. I bought a cheaper generic Wifi repeater for £12 before this one, sent it back immediately and this one was not much more expensive at £19 but 100% worth it! It's also small and much more aesthetically pleasing, looks like a plugin air freshener

Easy set up
Got to be honest, while this was relatively easy to set up and takes up litle space in the home (just plugs into a socket), I can't tell if the wi-fi is any better than previously. I had some places that the signal didnt reach but then upgraded to full fibre anyway which gets good speeds. Have kept this plugged in anyway as its trouble free, like an old friend, and shouldn't make the signal any worse.

A brilliant wi-fi booster for home and garden.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to improve our home Wi-Fi coverage, mainly for our outdoor Blink cameras, smart bulbs, Ring doorbell, and to get a better signal out to the summer house and back garden. We also had issues with our upstairs TV constantly buffering, which made streaming really frustrating. After reading a few reviews, I decided to give this model a try and I’ve been really pleased with the results. The extender arrived quickly, the very next day, and was well packaged. It came in a compact box with clear instructions. The device itself is smaller than I expected, which was a nice surprise. It fits neatly into the wall socket without getting in the way and has a clean, simple design that blends into the room easily.Setting it up was straightforward and took less than 30 minutes. You download the TP-Link Tether app which guides you through the process step by step. I had one minor issue at the beginning with the network name not appearing right away, but a quick restart sorted it out. Even without much technical knowledge, it was easy to get everything up and running. The app also lets you manage signal strength and connected devices, which is a helpful feature. The performance has been excellent. The TV upstairs now streams without any buffering, and the Eufy camera at the back of the house has gone from a weak, unstable signal to a strong and steady connection. I was also impressed that the 5GHz band reaches into the garden, something I didn’t expect. Devices now automatically connect to whichever signal is strongest, and we’ve had no issues with lag or dropped connections since installing it.I’ve also made use of the Ethernet port to connect my desktop PC, which had an inconsistent signal before. It now has a solid and stable connection, even though it’s quite far from the main router. The extender supports different modes including access point and mesh, and you can also choose the power level depending on how far you want the signal to reach.Build quality is solid and the design is discreet. It feels well made and not cheap or flimsy. Once it’s in place, it quietly gets on with the job and you don’t have to think about it again. For the price, it’s great value. It does exactly what I needed and more, solving all the Wi-Fi issues we were having inside and out. TP-Link has always been a reliable brand in my experience, and this product continues that trend. If you’re looking to extend your Wi-Fi coverage easily and effectively, I’d highly recommend it.Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope that you found it helpful and that it assists you in your decision-making. I try to be as honest and fair as possible, as those have always been the reviews that helped me the most.

Cheap and works
Easy to set up, and to connect to. Seems to have made a difference as I no longer get freezes or buffering when streaming films etc upstairs, my ring doorbell and camera system have massively improved with the boosted WiFi signal.Edited after a few weeks* absolutely no buffering or freezing when I'm watching full hd 4k films etc. absolutely brilliant product!

Was great - then bricked by firmware update.
Was really pleased with this when I bought it to replace an older Wavlink one which was a bit temperamental and a pain to keep trying to pair with my router with the WPS.This TP-Link one not only looks much nicer, with no visible antennae sticking out, but it was easy to pair with the router and set up, without having to fiddle with WPS buttons, and it immediately created its own network with the same name as my main Wifi network, with "_EXT" on the end, as you would expect, meaning that all my smart devices connected to my old one were happy to connect to this one too. It's good that it has an app, too, which gives useful monitoring and functions of this Wifi extender. However, a Firmware update a couple of weeks ago bricked it and it would no longer work.Immediately following the FW update, it lost its '_EXT' network and when trying to re-pair it to my router, it would only create its network with the same name as my main network, without the _EXT suffix. Every time.I tried re-adding the suffix within the app, which said it had done it but actually hadn't, and I even connected the extender to my computer via ethernet, to use its web-interface (very slow and clunky), and again, it appeared to let me add the _EXT suffix but it was never actually added. Many multiple attempts to reset (via the app and also with a paperclip in the reset hole) and reconfigure failed to create a network with an _EXT suffix, and it would only use the exact same name as the main Wifi, every time.More frustratingly, when going through this prodecure, it wants to connect to its new _EXT network to complete the process, but every time, this extended network was unavailable, and watching the Wifi names on another phone, I could see that the _EXT network this device created was only visible for a couple of seconds before disappearing again, meaning that it could never complete the setup, no matter how many times I reset it and tried again. The Amazon 30-day returns window was closed and it just told me to contact TP-Link to resolve. An excruciating call to TP-Link was mainly just the operator there telling me that it's up to Amazon to replace or refund it and wouldn't accept that this wasn't possible, without a lot of argument and me emailing her a screenshot of the Amazon page telling me that. She also kept trying to explain how to do a reset etc, and wouldn't really listen when I tried to explain that I had tried everything many many times with no joy. After sending her proof-of-purchase and other info she wanted, she eventually agreed to start a returns process. However, I then managed to call Amazon (not easy!) and explained the problem, and the representative there was very helpful and agreed to do a return/refund despite being outside the 30 days, and she even added a £5 credit to my account for the inconvenience, which was nice. So, I would say this Wifi Extender device is a very good choice, but if it's working, don't let it do a FW update!!
