Since TSA can’t be bothered to give me my locks back…
Since the TSA can’t be bothered to give my locks back, I was faced with 2 choices… stop locking my stuff or find a suitable locking vessel to put my stuff in. They inspect my tools every single trip, but if they knew what they were looking at they wouldn’t be working for the TSA for $16/ hour. They are charged with the security of our flights, but can’t be trusted to put a lock back on our luggage. These locks are the reason I purchased the Pelican case I use now, so at least I don’t have to carry so many spare locks with me everywhere I go.

Really nice upgrade to any non tsa lock pelican case
I've been using the Pelican Air Case Locking Latches with Keys (2 latches) on my Pelican Air Case for a year now, and I'm impressed with how easy they were to install and how well they've functioned.Simple Installation:Swapping out the standard latches for the locking ones was a breeze. Following the instructions, I used a hammer and a pin remover (tools I already had around the house) to remove the originals and pop these new ones in. The entire process took just a few minutes. Big thumbs up for DIY-friendly design!Added Security and Convenience:Peace of Mind: Having the locking latches provides peace of mind, especially when traveling or storing valuables in my Pelican Case.No More Padlocks: These latches eliminate the need for separate padlocks, streamlining the opening and closing process. Plus, you don't have to worry about losing a separate lock.Keys Included: The set comes with two keys, so you have a spare in case of a misplaced key.Durability After a Year:After a year of use, the latches continue to function smoothly. The locking mechanism feels secure, and the overall build quality seems sturdy.

Quiet latch with less force needed
My air cases came with original style (protector) latches. Replaced two of them with this lockable latch, and others with this new style ones without locks. Old style ones make very loud click noise when you latch, but these are very quiet. Also, needs less force to latch too. It was hard for me to find proper TSA lock which can be used for holes near latch, and wire ones were broken by TSA twice. Now, I don’t have to worry about this neither. It seems expensive, but worth every single money. To remove original and install this new latch, it was bit hard. I used regular punch but it got bent. At the end, I used replacement pin and a hammer to bang them out.

Locking latches
Pin removal was easy with a metal punch. They all came out with the threads on the left side of the og latch. 5 minutes per case and the new locking latches were installed. Made a great pelican air case even better.

You have to modify them
The media could not be loaded. You have to modify the locking clip to make it work. It's something you should not have to do but returning them was going to be a hassle. When looking at the back / lower clip that Locks into the lip of the case I used a razor knife and trimmed the inside of the clip to make it fit. Doing so made the clip fit into the groove of the case and allowed the center button to align when closed. It took several trims and test fittings to make it work. The final test is after you instal the pin to fasten it to the case. If the center button is flush and the latch keeps the case closed you are good to go.Im no expert, just a guy that tries to fix things. Good luck!

Perfect to keep cases from accidentally opening on flights
Perfect solution for my 1510 case. I was dealing with one or both of the stock latches opening on flights. I used TSA padlocks on my case, but they weren't the best solution...especially if I forgot to put them on in a rush. I'm several flights in with these locking latches, and there's no worry anymore that my case will explode on the baggage claim.
