Dickies Women's Polar Fleece Zip Jacket

So I've had this jacket for a while now and decided to finally review it. I can't think of a single negative this to say about this jacket! It's warm! The guys on my nursing unit like to keep the temp at 55 degrees. No, that's not an exaggeration. So, I wear this jacket pretty much the entire time that I'm at work. It's extremely comfortable. No areas that rub you the wrong way. I will say that the fit is snug when you zip it up. I was prepared for this though thanks to previous reviews and ordered a size larger than normal. I definitely suggest sizing up. The wrists are elastic too so if you need to push them up, they stay there. Seriously, I would recommend this jacket to anyone like me that's always cold. If you're hot natured, obviously a fleece jacket is probably not the best idea.

As mentioned in previous reviews, the jacket needs to be one size larger than typically worn. I ordered a size larger and the jacket fits well with the exception of the sleeves. They are very long and I will need to shorten them. This isn't typical for me. The jacket itself appears to be well made and the material is very nice for a light weight jacket. It should layer nicely under a leather jacket for additional warmth when traveling.

Too large but it is warm and cozy to wear. Be careful if you have pets because the pet hair just sticks right too it and is hard to get off. Didn't shrink after washing. Color has not faded at all.

So warm, comfortable, stylish, and soft. I do not like a big bulky coat in the winter, I also do not like to be cold either. This jacket is thin like a hoodie but warm like a winter coat. I get the best of both. It fits well, sometimes Dickie brand runs small but this fits great. It is similar to the Columbia jacket I had but must have miss placed, but at a better price.

I bought this fleece jacket for my wife because she wore my ratty and paint stained fleece habitually. I was getting tired of seeing her in such grubby clothing.I was concerned that this fleece would be too small. I'd read several review about the sleeves being long and the body short. Well, it fit her just great. She is long limbed, but certainly well within the normal range.At this price point I could afford to take the risk if it didn't fit and just give it to a neighbor's kid. Glad we didn't have to, though!

The fit is snug.. I'm not necessarily the snug tote but it's so warm and flattering.. Worth the price and I got as a liner under my jacket. It's sooo warm!!

I love the color and the quality of this jacket. However, it runs quite small. I usually wear an XL jacket. I'm always apprehensive when ordering clothing online, so I usually order a size up. I'd rather it be too big, which I could make alterations to, than be too small. I ordered a 2X. It's fits tighter than I would expect an XL to fit. Some fleece has stretch but is a very thick (nice quality) fleece that gives next to no stretch. Once zipped, I felt like I was in a sausage casing. And the arms are extremely long. I have long arms and I prefer having longer sleeves but the sleeves on this are too long, even for me. The wrist bands are elastic, so you can't roll the sleeves without it looking odd. But if you don't roll the sleeves, there is excessive bunching in the lower sleeve. In order for this to fit correctly, I would need to lose about 10lbs and hem the sleeves 3 inches.

I lived the jacket when I first got it. I ordered a medium and am 5,3" & weigh 130. It fits well over sweaters, has a lot of room if over a tank top or died shirt. It is tailored, but the medium is loose on me so not very fitted. It does not wash well in the machine, and I wish I hand washed and air dried. It now has a weird feel to it, and ecerything sticks to it. I only put it on low dry, but that was apparently not a good idea. I wear it it for working outside, but it's just not great looking anymore for me to wear it as often as I would have liked too.It's not a columbia, but for the price it was a goods buy. So buy smaller if you want it fitted, regular size to wear under sweaters, hand wash and air dry and you should be good.
