Don't be like me, buy it only if you understand the ...
I bought this for my daughter's karaoke machine and it didn't work. What I wasn't aware of is that being a CONDENSING microphone it needs an external battery to work. Don't be like me, buy it only if you understand the concept.

It didn't work
The shock mount and cord are very good quality, but the microphone doesn't work. There is no on and off switch and no place to put a battery. I think it might need to run on phantom power, but I don't really want to spend $50 to find out. Maybe I just got a defective one, but I don't know why there wouldn't be a place to turn it on and off.

Not a review. . . A comment.
ALL condenser microphones require power. Either 48 volt phantom or battery.I haven't seen many condenser microphones with on off switches.

Noisy without phantom power supply, Had to change colours, Only buy it on sale
Ordered the pink version for a lower price, was contacted by the seller and told it was out of stock and would have to buy a black version ( More expensive). I bought a cheap external soundcard to try and power the microphone but it still had significant noise. This microphone does not work particularly well if used without a phantom power supply, however I am still using it as of speaking and will continue to do so as it is better than my old cheaper microphone. I also see that the product is listed at 38.99 pounds. It is worth roughly 10 pounds so only buy this microphone if it is on sale.
