I use this for photos/videos and it is perfect. It cake fast in the mail and I easily put it together myself in less than 10 minutes. This top quality ring light is my perfect asset to starting a YouTube, taking better photos etc. The range of lighting and temperature is amazing the only thing I’d suggest doing different is making a dimmer setting but I have no complaints. I keep my light on warm temp and low-mid lighting and it’s amazing. It completely transforms what I capture. Amazing product and affordable! So glad I bought mine!

Light quality is very good. It is a little flimsy. It won’t tighten all the way. And one of the pieces that has an attachment doesn’t actually work. But the lighting is good so I’m keeping it.

I have had this light for a couple of years. It is sturdy and offers different options as far as light tones. Just a warning the yellower the light, the hotter the light gets. Keeping it at white light does not have that affect. Functions nicely, easily adjustable. Best investment. Used it as a lamp for the longest time.

This product lasted a little over 1 year. It just stopped working- the light just went out and will not go on again- I checked my power, outlets, everything- it just stopped working. I only used it 4x/week for teaching online, and I would think a product would last much longer than that- It was $80, so not so cheap one would expect it to break. I can't return it as it's past the return window- I'm extremely frustrated. I ordered this because the New York Times had it on their Wirecutter list as a "best of," and I'm writing to them regarding my experience with the product as well. A product should live up to such a generous review for more than a year. I just want one that lasts more than a year- what a waste... Things should not be built this cheaply! If it didn't break so quickly, I would have given it a much better review.

This tripod was much easier to use than I expected it to be. What I also liked is that the light ring is made out of a durable plastic and not glass. I found that to be very useful because I have young children animals and moving it around the house quite a bit. It’s very lightweight and easy for anyone to put together. There are several lighting options and brightness options that are perfectly acceptable. This is not professional photography grade of course, but definite Useful for someone who needs to record themselves and wants to do so in a quality manner.
