Should serve its purpose for a five year old .
Bought for my Great grandson age 5. It arrived in perfect condition.Rogan has always been interested in insects and bugs and I think this will help him with his reading.

Large, colourful pictures draw you into this book from the very beginning. The book/story starts with a monarch caterpillar, a very hungry caterpillar. It wonders what it is going to grow up like so visits a variety of different bugs whilst continuing to munch, munch, munch. Each bug visited as a "FACT" circle.The story ends on Page 30 then we are treated to 15 pages of games and activities. This book is an EXCELLENT resource for YOUNG children. There is not enough detail provided for older children. I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher. Thanks, Liz
