A Pain To Fit
It looks nice and feels nice to use, but a real pain to fit. I needed to buy an oversized back box to fit this and the wires in. I previously had a 'standard' looking double switch, which I was able to fit into a standard box, but when it came to this one, I had to get a new back box. Also screwing on the face plate is fiddly. If this one ever needs work, I am going to replace it with something else, I couldn't be bothered by the hassle to re-fit this one again.

Up to the usual MK standard
This is made to the usual high MK standard. It’s easy to make the connections to the angled terminals and then complete the installation. It looks smart too, being so slim for a plastic unit. I love the clip-on cover, hiding the screw heads and making re-decoration of the wall a doddle. The 25-year guarantee is very welcome. It certainly isn’t the cheapest available though, currently £17.39, so I’m deducting a star. I’d still buy it though.

Smooth operation
This item arrived safe and well packaged. This 2 way, wide rocker double switched socket works exactly as expected. Fresh out of the box it wires straight into the existing socket. The detailing seems to add an extra little something to this. It's not your basic light switch for sure. They're an upgrade worth taking too. I highly recommend this product.

A quality switch with attention to detail
This is a high quality double 2-way light switch from MK. It has a frame that contains the switches that is screwed on to the pattress box and then a cover is clipped on to give a smooth screwless finish. This is a double 2-way switch and the terminals are clearly marked and, to make it clear, there is a diagram on the switch side. The connection screws are both slotted and Phillips headed; having a Phillips head screw is so useful and saves time connecting up. Works faultlessly, a quality item.

Great for the lights at the top and bottom of the stairs.
This is a really useful replacement to a double switch at the top of our stairs, which operates that light at the top and the light at the bottom. I much prefer wide rocker switches and we have been systematically changing our old standard switches for these across our house. It was easily fitted and looks great. I know that MK are a trustworthy brand and this looks like it will last and last.

A great quality MK switch
In our house, MK switches were always seen as a sign of quality and despite it no longer being a British owned company (they are now owned by Honeywell, an American company), they don't seem to have sacrificed on the quality of the switches i.e. they remain as strong and robust as ever. This review is for a two gang, two way, wide rocker switch, with its core purpose being that of a light switch. It is important to note that this is unlikely to be a like for like replacement for your current light switch as the "switch" part takes up the majority of the space on the faceplate. However, I quite like this idea and is very similar to the design of light switches which are commonly found in Continental Europe. The switch also operates with a very satisfying click, so you can't mistake when you've turned it on (or off). Unlike many older switches, this switch comes in two distinct parts, the first containing the main electronic components of the switch and the second being a removable faceplate. The advantage of a removable faceplate is that it can be used to cover up the screws attaching the switch to the wall, thus making it look slightly tidier. Crucially, it is very easy to install (provided you are comfortable working with electronic circuits, as to do otherwise, would be extremely dangerous) and all fixings are included, being the screws to hold both the electric wires and for fixing it to the wall. However, the backing box for inserting into the wall and attaching the switch to, in the case that it is a new rather than replacement switch, is not included. Overall, I would highly recommend this switch, if this is what you need.
