A complete meal and exercise plan! Excellent recipes, perfect in the kitchen using Kindle for iPhoneX!
This book will build you up to using heavier weights fairly quickly. I have followed "body for life" alternatively which by comparison focuses on more sets for fat-burning; abs diet focuses on fewer heavier sets which won't necessarily burn more calories but it does build me up faster. The big advantage of this abs-diet book is the meals. I would like to point out my favorites are the Turkey Chili recipe which takes cheap ground turkey and makes it taste like a buttery chili. I personally hate the taste of ground turkey, but this recipe literally transforms it into tasting like normal chili. Which is great because ground turkey is cheap and supposedly a healthier meat than fatty ground beef. The other recipe is the Peanut Butter smoothie which I used with Chocolate protein powder and Irish slow-cooked oatmeal. That was the best daily protein shake I'd every had and I never got tired of drinking it.I purchased the Kindle version of this book which I originally read on my iPad some 5 years ago. It is actually formatted very nicely for the iPad. Today I refer to the recipes in the book using the Kindle App for iPhoneX. The iPhoneX screen is large enough that I can clearly see the recipes in the book when cooking in the kitchen. This book is a great resource for anyone looking to 'get back on track' with their diet and exercise lifestyle. I highly recommend it!

Great Book!
I ordered this, not because I'm fat, but because I wanted to get a six pack and also see if I could get enough energy to stop using energy drinks which some scientists proving to cause certain cancers and even brain tumors. I didn't like the fact that I HAD to have one just about every day to stay awake through my job. I run valet eight hours every day and it takes a lot out of you.Since starting the New Abs Diet I have seen a world of a difference in my energy level and have lost a good amount of belly fat; keep in mind I didn't have too much fat to begin with. I'm 5'9 and was 155 lbs four weeks ago, now I weight 149 lbs with close to a six pack. I don't really care if I get my six pack in six weeks cuz I know that I WILL get it eventually. What made this product worth it's money in gold is the pure fact that because of following the Power Foods and eating six meals a day, I have all the energy and more throughout the day. I love it.

Very simply put, this is the very best nutrition and exercise course you will ever take in your life. The Abs Diet is not a fad or a gimmick, it's about sustaining a healthy diet and exercise regimen that you can follow day to day, even while traveling, and puts you in control of your weight. The book will also correct countless misconceptions you have about diet and exercise, allowing you to make informed choices.I've been on the Abs Diet since 2008, and I'm still going strong. I'm not a paid spokesperson, but I have bought close to a dozen copies for friends and family. I gained over 10 ungainly pounds in sympathy with my pregnant wife (amazing how quickly it happens). I dropped them all to get back to my target weight in 4 weeks, and I'm holding strong at 47.A couple of notes for prospective users: one comment noted that this book is a tool. I couldn't agree more! The book allows you to integrate the diet and exercise concepts into your life. There are lots of easy recipes for men with little or no cooking experience. I'm kind of a foodie, so I've taken my recipes and modified them to make them more healthy and add "power foods." Turns out, you can put half a package of spinach into chili, etouffee, curries, and lots of dishes, while enhancing the taste and color of the food.This program consists of a diet and weight lifting regime that together have a synergistic effect. Basically, you give your body the nutrients and protein it needs to maximize muscle production, and simultaneously lift free weights and core exercises that target muscle groups, not isolated muscles. Muscle growth stimulates testosterone production, which accelerates the body's production of muscle in the 48 hours between workouts and shreds fat in the process. It's science and it works unbelievably well.I've had friends use the diet with cross-fit and other non-weight lifting workouts, and the results are just not the same. YOU NEED TO LIFT HEAVY WEIGHTS, three times a week in two circuits (a 30-minute workout). Add 10 minutes of cardio or 2 sets of all-body dead lifts as a warm up for improved results.Six weeks and you won't be disappointed.

Excellent book you can eat and exercise with daily
I've become a major fan of men's health magazine over the years, and my fiancee has even grown to love women's health. They offer sound advice that's down to earth and they debunk all of the dieting and supplement gimmicks. They don't try to sell you more of their crap, but instead provide legitimate tools through their own collective experience to help improve not only your fitness and the way you look, but also the quality and longevity of your life. I just wish it had more! :) I honestly would have gotten the large hardcover version had I known better.

Good First Read if you're trying to change your eating style
Awesome recipes, that are relatively easy to make. The Abs work outs in the back are great! And last the smoothies they recommend are awesome. Its worth the money and you can learn about the habits that will make you successful in maintaining your ideal food intake for health sake. As an added bonus, I started to see my abs in a few weeks and have made some lasting changes as result of this read!!!
