easy for a 3 year old to put on and quite durable and comfy! Great look too!

Shoes are Nike and bright blue which were a hit but with no velcro and light weight mesh running shoe style they didn't hold up to the playground well. My child preferred to go back to his sketchers despite kids giving him a hard time about that brand.

Our tot has high arches, thick joints and generally chubby feet. these are easy to put on (wide opening) and adjust, also soles are super light foam and flexible. He runs like the wind in these, and can take them off independently. This is i think our fourth or fifth pair... we just keep on buying the next size up and different colors)))) they are rather light so we use them during warmer seasons (not winter), and we would not wear them on the hottest summer days as well. one con is foam wears out fast and get dirty - but this is not an issue since feet grow so fast and you have to change shoes so often.

I like how light weight the shoes are and they have a fair amount of cushion in the foot bed. They also have some tread on the bottom which seems to be lacking in a lot of athletic shoes these days. I bought a size 3 for my just turned 9 year old boy. I think he is really between a 2.5 and a 3. There is room for him to grow a little. He has a NARROW foot and they fit him well.
