The one star rating is for being sent something that is advertised as something it is not. Wheel arrived and checked it out before installing. This wheel is not stainless steel. Do not want to use a carbon wire wheel on SS welded pieces as it can scratch the material and eventually rust material.I will probably keep the wheel for use on carbon steel work as it would be too much of hassle to return it. I didn't install on my other grinder to check the quality of the wheel. The packaging on the wheel does not indicate whether it is stainless or carbon steel wire. The plastic ring is blue in color so from what I have read, this indicates it being stainless. Tried three different strength quality of magnets on the wires and even a low quality magnet stuck to the wires.

I needed a stainless wire brush for my grinder to clean aluminum for MIG and TIG welding. This brush seems to be well-made but has a major problem. It is very thick (about 3/4") and heavy and very out of balance. It shakes everything on the bench my grinder is attached to.I would have liked to contact the seller about this problem, but no pathway to contact the seller is available.I would not recommend this fairly expensive brush unless you want to ruin the bearings on your bench grinder.[edit 9-3-14]My last recommendation may have be unfair. I got a bad wire brush that was out of balance. It may well have been one in a thousand. I have no way of knowing if the rest of their products are defective. I liked the bushing system for the brush.
