Best value I could find, extremely happy even after 9 months!
I purchased this safe in June of 2022 and am very happy with it. I have it installed in my closet and have it anchored to the wall to keep it sturdy and also to prevent theft. I would have installed the anchors in the bottom as well if I knew it was there to stay, but I planned on putting up a closet system in the future and I may end up moving it to another part of the closet. The included lock box inside gives extra protection and piece of mind for storing important documents, cash, or even just extra ammo. There is a setup where you can require both a fingerprint and numeric code and I have chosen that for even more piece of mind. The only thing I do not like about it is the wheel on the control panel sometimes does not close on the first try. I noticed that one time when I took some items out to go to the range. When I returned something didn't seem right. I turned the door handle and it opened right up. Therefore, my only advice is to double check that the wheel is turned all the way, then triple check by trying to turn the handle to ensure it is locked as intended to prevent unwanted access. Also, this is a locked cabinet, not a heavy duty safe. It works for my needs, but if you want something that is going to break someone's back trying to get out of your house or trying to force it open, this is not it (I believe it weighs just under 100 pounds). I would imagine a determined burgler with the right tools could probably get into it within about five minutes. However, I figure most people don't have x-ray vision, so they don't know what I have and where I keep it, so the setup I have and having it anchored to the wall studs works just fine for me. I have seen others mention that the company provides gun safe organizers and magnetic mount holders for a discounted cost (or even free in some instances) and I have reached out to the company to inquire about those accessories. That would make this purchase even better! Be safe out there and lock up your guns! Keep them out of those curious (or dirtbag) hands that don't need to be handling firearms!

Awesome safe for the money
This is a great safe for the price. Can hold 6 rifles or shotguns with no scope on it. I have 4 in there now and the one with a scope, I just put sideways next to my Bullpup shotgun which I put sideways also. The keypad and finger print reader was easy to program. The fingerprint reader works really well. I scanned my thumb 3 different times, which is 12 times cause 1 time makes you scan 3x in different positions. I have opened it a bunch of times and never had it reject it. I even have my wife's in it and no problem. Key is to do as many different positions so no mater what, it will open. The memory can hold 120 prints. So you can open it with the key, number code, fingerprint, or number code with a fingerprint to open. Construction is nice. Can move the shelf to 2 different positions, and you can move the rifle holder up and down to accommodate the length of your rifle. Has a nice lock box in it and it comes with 2 keys and 2 keys for the outside. Comes with some decent anchor bolts to secure it. The construction is very well. The front door is thick and heavy, and the sides and back are steal. Not to heavy duty. Good to keep people out, like my kids and guests, and I would think thieves would have a very hard time getting into it or taking it if bolted. Even if not bolted, it is heavy with the weapons and ammo you keep in it. Just wish it was fire proof. When everything I know about this safe, would I purchase it again....... OH Yeah. It does everything I need it to do and the price is great.

My First Gun Safe - Worthy Investment
I am a first-time purchaser of a gun safe, and did my research into various aspects of what the requirements are and expected features should be. Received the safe and installed it over the weekend. The safe was exactly as advertised. Construction of the safe itself appears to be quality work, with very clean weld lines and no discernible flex to the shell. The locking mechanism works as advertised, although I had a little trouble with some of the fingerprint registration and had to reset it to factory settings in order to proceed. Once that was cleared up and the passcode and fingerprints registered, opening the safe is easy and not prone to false negatives at a higher rate than other industry scanner technologies (I will be keeping the scanner element clean). As others have noted, this is not a "safe" in the sense of preventing theft against a professionally equipped person with the objective of gaining entry, nor would it be "fireproof" in the event of a serious fire - but it would certainly deter casual thieves and reduce most fire damage accordingly. If you're looking for a bank-grade safe in the same size range, it will cost 5x to 10x more and weigh 100s of pounds. This safes' purpose is to securely store your firearms and have them readily accessible when required - and it is entirely practical for that purpose. The construction is solid and action smooth (hinges, lock mechanism, etc...). The interior space is exactly as advertised, and it's definitely packed tight when you have rifles with scopes/sights in there ("height" of weapon from grip bottom to top of sight are pretty close to the depth of the safe), but this is a small safe not intended for more than 5 rifles. Some minor cons: Due to its location, I am currently unable to bolt the safe to either a wall or the floor without constructing some intervening infrastructure. It does seem to want to tip forward when the door is opened, which is entirely understandable when you swing a heavy door out from the center of gravity, but I was able to remove most of that tendency by elevating the front side a few millimeters (causing it to "lean backward" a little bit). I would like to see an optional "anti-tip" bracket offered for this - I've dealt with computer equipment racks for many years, and most manufacturers offer a basic 90-degree angle plate that can be bolted to the front face of the racks and entirely prevents most tipping tendencies (very important when you're yanking 100+ pound servers out on their rails near the top of the rack). There is some carpeting type material included for lining the bottom of the safe, but having a fully-lined interior might be a nice option as well. Overall, this safe is exactly what I was expecting and it should deliver many years of service without any issues at all. I am definitely happy with this purchase.

Get's the job done well at a reasonable price point.
I'm really happy with this rifle cabinet. I was really set on a Vaultek but there wasn't enough justification for the 3-4x price difference. I really just need something I could access in a reasonable amount of time and is robust enough to keep my kids out. The more expensive options are undoubtedly better in build quality but build quality here is more than sufficient for my and most people's needs. The biometric access works well and it's nice to have the digital keypad backup in case your hands are wet, the packaging was sufficient to avoid damage, the internal lockbox is nice to separate ammo from the firearms. Tips: * Make sure you bolt this thing to the wall, it isn't a heavy safe and on carpet the door is heavy enough to tip it over. I used 2 2x6s lag bolted (use forstner bits to get the lag bolts flush to the wood) to the wall studs and then used short lag bolts to secure the safe to the 2x6s. * I swapped out the lockbox lock for a digital cabinet lock to remove the annoyance of keys. * I mounted a 64 LED light bar vertically near the hinge and 20 LED light bar underneath and inside the lockbox to provide automatic lighting. * I also ran a USB cable into the safe to provide low voltage power for temp/humidity monitoring (you'll need to cut the usb connector off and then rejoin it inside the safe). * I took the door panel off to take a look at things and there's lots of possibilities if you're handy with electronics and want to create additional ways to actuate the unlocking mechanism (it's a simple 5V solenoid). Customer Service: I'm actually surprised how nice Langger has been, I did the warranty registration and got an email from them with thanks and an offer for the door panel organizer at no cost to me. It arrived quickly and gives more storage options for pistols or other random things you might want to keep organized. They even followed up with an email to make sure I received it. It's nice knowing that if a problem came up that there's someone responsive on the other end to address it. If you're looking to keep firearms away from people in your house that shouldn't handle them without supervision at a reasonable price, this can't be beat.

Peace of Mind
This is not a 500 Lb dynamite resistant gun safe, but it is a cost effective and secure storage cabinet for guns, ammunition, etc. It arrived early, fully assembled, and in perfect condition. It was easy to move into place and install/bolt to the wall (fasteners included with purchase). It won’t stop a professional thief with good skills/tools, but it will slow them down some and will provide some fire protection It WILL stop children and adults with casual interest or more limited skills/tools. I installed it in a locking “safe room” adjacent to the primary suite and an exterior escape. Significant fire power will be readily available if/when needed, while providing peace of mind that it won’t be inadvertently discovered and or accessed by unauthorized family members, guests or casual thieves/burglars.

Overall a decent gun safe for what I paid for.
The plastic cover that holds the battery in place came off, some how the clip no longer holds battery in place. I've reached out to them at least 3 times, never responsed back to me. Not even Amazon customer service. The Pros: Lightweight, easy to move around; for me at least. Biometric/Numpad setup is fairly straight forward, nothing complicated. Is not Fort Knox , but it fits my needs, and my wallet. The Cons: NOt a big deal, but the mounting hardware that came with the safe is for mounting on cement. Since this is going on top of carpet/wood, I purchased my own screwed. I used 3/8 diameter/ 1 1/2 inch screws with washer, see picture. The problem mounting this safe on carpet is it lean forward at an angle. This is because the mounting holes location is towards the front, not centered. What I had to do was to slide a 1 inch thick stick under the safe toward the front, so when the screws is mounted down, it will not lean forward. Ideally, I wish it had 4 mounting holes evenly distributed. The shelf holders on the slots that holds the shelf in place is NOT removable (see picture). It be nice if is removable. Again, overall is a decent gun safe for what i've paid for. Not nit picking, but wanted point things out that could use the improvement. It would nice to see if they can add accessories with different mounting options, like a modular approach.

Worth the Money
As safes go, it isn't going to stop a wood be burglar from stealing your guns if he has a few skills and time. It will slow him down, and more importantly it will stop children from getting access to your firearms. I attached mine to the floor and selling of my locked cabinet and my lockable bedroom. As well as providing safety it provides an organized space to store my firearms. It was easy to setup and it works reliably with combo, key or fingerprints.

Rifle Safe With A Rattle
Works as advertised, it's a low end rifle safe with one objectionable trait. I lagged the safe to my bedroom floor (tile/concrete) and made sure the safe before lagging did not rock, all four corners were stable once in position. After lagging and using oversized washers along with those supplied with the safe I noticed with finger tip pressure at the top of the safe the safe would rock ~1". The rock was caused by the 14 ga floor bending or flexing with the side pressure at the top, and at the same time the top compartment door would rattle, the compartment door latch is not a tight fit. This is probably not a problem if the safe is lagged at the bottom & side, but the side option would not work in my setting. I fixed the problem by having a ¼" steel plate cut ($50) at the local machine shop, and then I drilled clearance holes for the lagging screws (I did not use the supplied hardware), problems solved. The safe is solid with any side pressures that I can apply, and with he rock tamed the top compartment door does not rattle.
