Is there anything that you do not like about the unit?

Actually, I love it except that for some reason it smells very poopy. I don't know why. Why would it smell anything like poop? Also, it autoshuts off sooner than the length of time it takes to sleep.

Will this remember setting on power loss so I can use smart outlet and have Alexa turn on/off?

We do not recommend to use with any sort of timer or smart outlet.

If you plug it into a socket with a timer To turn its on before you to bed, will it heat up when the socket turns on?

Unless the Bed Warmer is not plugged in, its switch will not turn on. So using the separate timer may not work. You can just turn on the Bed warmer 10 to 15 min. before you go to the bed.

How many ampere of electricity does this use?
