Good quality and value compostable bin liners
My local council recently supplied new kitchen caddies as part of a new recycling initiative and of course the scant supply of bin liners they provided didn’t last long and weren’t really very good quality. I bought these Greener Walker brand liners as they received mostly favourable reviews on Amazon and seemed good value. My caddy is 5 litres but I decided to go for the 10 litre bag size so that I could fill the caddy and still have a enough space to easily remove and tie the bag for disposal in the kitchen scraps bin outside. One problem that I had with the 5 litre bags that the council had provided was that when they were full they weren’t very easy to tie. The Greener Walker bags are not only a better size but are significantly stronger, with the bottom of each bag being nicely constructed to prevent splitting when full. In my experience, they are even strong enough to tolerate chicken bones. There also doesn’t seem to be much leak-through (liquids from the kitchen scraps passing through the bag into the caddy or bin) due to the thicker and better quality of these bags. The bags come packaged in a cardboard box which acts as a dispenser and the well-defined perforations between bags make it easy to separate them. Once separated the bags are easy to open and put into the caddy. Overall, I’m very pleased with these bin liners and recommend them for their quality and value for money. I will definitely buy these again although as I bought 150 of them it might be some time before I repeat my order!

Great quality, not flimsy.
Excellent quality. I can leave them in my compost caddy with quite 'wet' peelings etc and the bag doesn't break apart. They're also a generous size. I sometimes use them for dog poo bags too, given they are biodegradable. I'm on my third roll. Recommended

Good overall, tear with care or you'll end up with a holey bag!
Have now used these for many years. Pretty reliable and robust. You do have to be careful when tearing to avoid damaging the bag your are tearing off.

The best compost bags we’ve ever bought
Fantastic product. Really good quality, thick bags that are more than ample size for the Council’s small compost bins. Left for a day or two they are easily lifted from the bin and there’s no falling to pieces, no leaks like several other bags we’ve used. There’s usually plenty of room to lift the bag and tie it in a knot. We are a household of 3 and these have lasted us a year, absolutely brilliant value for money. I wouldn’t ever buy another brand now.

Great food waste bag!
These are excellent! We line our kitchen food bin with these and they are the perfect size. Easy to open, and a lot can be put inside with the bag staying sturdy. Easy to tie and doesn't leak - would recommend!

No easy to break
tried other similar products, this one is relatively not easy to break no matter tearing-off or with fully loaded

Good quality liners for mini food bins
I have used these bags for years. I have them on annual subscription. They are really good quality and much thicker than some other brands. What attracted me to this brand was the fact that these bags are easily degradable. I did worry on buying them that they would degrade in the cupboard but they don’t! I have the bags for about a year and they work well. The bags fit nicely into our mini food bin by the sink and makes clearing up the dinner and emptying the bin easy!

Something has changed about these bags - not good anymore
I have been using these Greener Walker 25% Extra Thick Compost Caddy Bin Liner (10L) for a long time. Having ordered these three times and set up an Subscribe and Save for this, too. However, my recent order of these bags were disappointing. The previous two orders both went very well. The bags are strong, sturdy, and fits my 8L bin perfectly with extra room at the top, allowing me to tie the bags up easily. (I intentionally ordered 10L bag for 8L bin, for that extra room and that bags dont get filled too full). Each box of the bags lasted me around 8 months. Now the issue came with the most recent order, in May 2022. The bags arrived in a plastic bag, not the previous card box as shown in picture 1. The roll also looks a lot smaller than previous batches. Side by side the printed wording on the bag is also slightly different. That's OK. The biggest difference is the quality: they are no longer sturdy bags! They are a lot thinner than before, and just keeps splitting when you seperate them off the roll. Even if I pull them out and seperate the bags very carefully, they'd split from the middle either when I line the bin, or when I lift the bag out from the caddy bin with food waste in - the latter obviously leaving a big mess all over kitchen. We started to use two bags a time, which still wasn't helping as the bags just split! Just over a month the roll of bags has almost none left. I didn't count how many bags there are, but I seriously doubt there were 120 of them. Same order lasted me 8 months in the past! Being so disappointed with these I ordered a different brand and cancelled my subscription of these bags. I still leave the bags 3 stars - they were really good and straight 5 stars! I hope it's just me got a bad batch.
