Exactly as shown; so perfect
This was an extremely important purchase : I wanted this exact model 35 years ago and it was extremely important that it come exactly as advertised and it did. It is , in all ways, a perfect replica of the shuttle/ 747 and I am beyond happy with it! I will treasure it always

Nice model but it didn't match photo
I was torn when writing this review. I wanted to give 3 stars because the model did not match the photo shown on Amazon when I purchased it. The photo I saw showed the shuttle with the booster cover fitted and a stand that had the NASA emblem on it. I received a model that looks like the photo displayed now, which has a plain wood stand and a shuttle with no booster cover fitted. I was kind of disappointed when I opened the box, but I settled on 4 stars because the quality of the model is excellent. I am happy with my purchase but wish that Amazon would deliver that which they display online. I would have been much happier with the model I thought I was purchasing.

Inaccurate
The Space Shuttle was ever mounted on the 747 without the rear engine cover. That makes this model inaccurate. I will not purchase it.
